It's just a few seconds in a long hard fight. Floyd looked very beatable and hittable in that fight. Chavez is a volume puncher and was doing quite well. Floyd came on the last round and Chavez's corner wouldn't let him come out for the next round. I thought it was a premature stoppage, but maybe the feeling was that Chavez hadn't been dominant enough to be ahead on points so why not save him for bigger things? It was his first title fight and it was against the best in the division, the guy most place on the top of p4p today.

As far as Floyd's elbow goes, well, it was more a forearm and Chavez was moving in ducking down to go inside after taking a shot. Remember Chavez only has around a 65" reach, so Floyd uses his forearm to fend him off and maintain distance, unsuccessfully I might add as the forearm sweeps over the head of the ducking Chavez. It didn't make any difference as Floyd was in the middle of a substained combination of punches that where taking some steam out of Chavez.

At anyrate, Floyd knows as many dirty tricks as anyone, so what? It's like when he suckered Gatti while Gatti had his hands down complaining to the ref about a foul. Pure Bush League, but effective in rattling Gatti. Hatton won't complain though, he'll just even up the score and then double it.
