What accomplishment does Hopkins have to achieve to satisfy himself.

Bernard wants to be remembered as one of the absolute greatest.

What is it going to take for Bernard to be satisfied with his career?

    Pascal didn't do it.

    The record didn't do it.

I doubt a victory over Dawson will do it.

The only accomplishment I believe will satisfy Hopkins to the point where he can retire is a cruiserweight/heavyweight championship!

I think deep down Hopkins wants to surpass his hero Sugar Ray Robinson.

I respect Hopkins 90% for his Middleweight reign and what he has been doing recently. Some of his big wins are overrated as hell due to his age but still, he is an ATG. Just not all this legend stuff that people claim. Maybe when his career is over I might change my mind.

I think he loves boxing too much to quit on his own accord. I can see him retiring when he's so old that someone manages to KO him.
