Wow, at least a $1,650,000 purse for the Martinez camp. That's more than what Cotto made in his last fight. With that kind of money, I would have no problem being a 2 time a year HBO *****.

EDIT: Forogot this probably includes payment for the undercard, but I doubt they're being paid much.

I will have to defend Dibella on this one and disagree with Bob. This past week alone, Sergio did a public workout in Times Square which was heavily attended, did some interviews on spanish sports radio, had Sergio interviewed on the NY1 channel, and got him an interview on CNN en espanol which aired live and will be re-aired around the WORLD.

Bob is sour because he couldn't steal away Martinez from Lou like he planned on doing a couple of months ago.

He's also hosting a boxing reality show in Mexico.

He's right though. Fighting two completely unknown foreign fighters back to back certainly doesn't help things either.

I'm not saying Martinez could have been or ever be some superstar, but I do think he could be more known than he is now if promoted a little differently and fought different opposition after P-Will.

SErgio shld be marketed in posters, commercials, ads, NO ****, he can do a freakin Old ****e commercial if he wants too, even GSP from UFC has an Under Armour commercial and his english sucks ass! LOL! I mean the guy is the second P4P fighter nxt to Floyd like he said! He shld have 24-7 next against a top 5 fighter in160 weight class! Anything! The guy is just a humble dude that's why maybe he just doesn't care , but a close mouth never gets fed!
