Gimme all your points when Mayweather beats Cotto if it ever happens.
The fight had meaning back in 2008, dwindled in 2009, was still a little relevant in 2010, but at THIS point in 2011, and heading into 2012...it's practically meaningless.
Let's suppose Cotto looks sensational against Margarito (like the Old Cotto), even then...I doubt he'll be as imposing, as invincible as he looked back in 2007-mid 2008.
In order for Cotto to restore some of that aura that he lost, he'd have to avenge his loss against Margarito in stunning fashion, then beat a good, 154-pounder (probably Angulo, or Canelo by mid 2012...I really don't know), and then maybe any lost faith in him may be restored.
But as of right now...I'm telling you man, Cotto in the best case scenario wins four rounds. He is prone to power punches and would get outboxed with little to no difficulty.
But really, why don't you ask other PR posters and see what they think. I've already told my side of the story over and over...Comment
