Comments Thread For: Team Ortiz on Elbows, Mayweather's Legacy, Pacquiao

Victor Ortiz, a controversial knockout victim at the hands of unbeaten Floyd Mayweather, began pushing the case on Monday for a chance to regain the welterweight title in a rematch. Mayweather flattened Ortiz one second before the end of the fourth round on September 17th while an unguarded Ortiz, his hands lowered after apologizing to Mayweather for a head butt, was looking at referee Joe Cortez.

Floyd promised Ortiz a rematch. If Floyd is a man of his word then he should rematch Ortiz and prove that he can win a fair fight.

Floyd won a fair fight. Will Pacroid take the test to prove he can win in a fair fight?

Floyd was lying yesterday. Today he is telling the truth.

Floyd did offer a rematch in the post fight interview, saying if he wants a rematch he can get one, Okay Ortiz wants one lets see, Then again didnt Floyd say that Manny Pac was next? only to turn around 3 weeks later and say he never said that?

You cant take his word for ****, I mean this kid wont even fight Pacquiao, He ducked a DLH rematch and will duck Ortiz

You see, this is just the tip of the iceburg, the dirt is starting to come out. Bought off referees, bought off fighters, and broken promises.

Ortiz was dominating. He won 3 outta the first 4 rounds before the headbutt. Floyd won't rematch him cuz he knows he would get his ass kicked
