    I hate Amir Khan but...

as much as I hate him & even though a lot of people think Peterson is a bit of a joke. I think this is a better fighter than people give credit for.

Now I know Peterson is quite feather fisted, he lost to Bradley & was very lucky IMO to get a draw against Ortiz but this is what makes the fight interesting.

Peterson is coming off a win, a decent win!
    He has good handspeed.
    He has good movement.
He has shown to have a lot of heart (dragged himself off the canvas a few times & dug deep)
He is tall & has a longer reach than Khan!

So I give credit to Khan (see I am not totally bias) because this is a good clash of styles & I see Peterson testing Khan in this a bit more than the defensive midgets he's used to fighting.

Even though Peterson's resume is weak, IMO he is the best fighter Amir has ever faced. Slightly better than Kotelnik.

This could turn out to be a very competitive fight.

I agree. I think he has the tools at least to give Khan a competitive fight. I have always felt Peterson has a little bit more potential than he has showed in previous performances so hopefully he'll bring his A game & push Khan to the limits. This has the potential to be a very good fight IMO

Amir has taken on a range of styles since he came to 140lbs. A defensive, technical boxer in Kotelnik. A power punching slugger in Maidana. A fast, dangerous punching southpaw in Zab. And now a slick, rangy boxer in Petersen.

              Great learning experience

Peterson is a good matchup and the best way to measure Khan in boxing. He is a solid contender with youth, height and skills. Not a lot of punching power but makes it up with heart

Don't hate Khan kind of a strong word. IMO though he gets full credit for this one because I think Peterson is a good fighter. I would much rather him fight Peterson then see him go big name hunting with Morales.

I don't see how Peterson is considered an easy opponent. Maybe he will turn out to be, but Peterson was competitive with Bradley, so how would he not be competitive with Khan?
