Puerto Rico's Manny Siaca, a former WBA 168-pound champion, is now competing in the middleweight division and he wants a shot at the WBA king, Felix Sturm, who defends his title against Martin Murray on December 2 in Germany. Siaca, with a record of 22-7 with 19 knockouts, returns on October 7 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. The card is being promoted by PR Best Boxing. If Siaca is unable to secure a fight with Sturm, he's willing to drop down even further, to 154, to target WBA "super" champion Miguel Cotto and WBA "regular" champion Austin Trout.

Sturm doesn't really fight punchers or the best fighters for that matter.

Maybe he'd give Siaca a shot. He's has equally questionable title defenses.

Nice to have goals but Manny hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse in seven years and got KO'd in three by Green at cruiserweight 19 months ago. Might be nice to see him beat a few legitimate opponents at middleweight before getting a title fight. But then again, he is talking about Sturm, who was willing to defend against Ronald Hearns
