Margo's layoff combined with his beat down could play pivotal role in this fight.

Can someone name a fighter who took such a one-sided beating and had a good performance vs a good fighter in his next fight?

Cotto never had stamina... Margarito definitely has the edge...

Gatti off the top of my head.

I think Duran as well after Hearns. Not completely sure on this one though.

          I see you're point though.

i think pac is a stronger puncher than cotto, with that said, margs was still coming foward vs pac......

the key for cotto to win this fight is to tie him up when he gets back against the ropes.

i didnt see him do this much or if at all in the first fight.

margs did take some damage in the first fight, i still think he wins pending the above and how his eye holds up.

You have a point there, but we must all remember that Margo is fighting someone he already owned. He will come in with full confidence he can beat Cotto again.

Just went through there Box rec.

Both guys fought soft opposition aka a tune-up right after losing there worst fights.

Unless you consider Thomas Damgaard a good fighter. Which I don't.
