Cotto will definitely run out of gas

Cotto will definitely win probably the first 6 rds. Then margarito will bring on his forcefullness and run down cotto... His stamina will be the end of him... Cotto will gas out...comments???

Not sure it will follow the pattern of the first fight. Tony made Cotto fight for the whole fight last time and walked through Cotto's punches but I think a lot depends on how much of Margarito's punch resistance has diminished. Miguel had trouble keeping him off, but Margarito might be more hesitant this time.

I'm leaning towards a margarito win, but its a bit harder to pick this time.

You have to wonder...If Cotto wins the first six rounds, how will Marg's eye hold up? Comments?

Sound like you expect the exact same fight as last time.

Maybe. I think both men are not the same.

        I think it goes 12.

I think Margo's strength will fail him after the 4th round like it did vs Pac.

That will allow this to become a slower paced fight with margo plotting and Cotto jabbing refusing to exchange.

        Cotto wins a controversial MD.

I think this fight will be different

In the first fight Cotto did great in the first half of the fight but he was moving too much, this time I think his game plan will be after he gets off his combinations he will tie up Margarito or come in close to smuther his punches! I think it will be a great fight either way!

With Garcia, Margarito has been a little more reserved. Maybe it was because he fought Pac but he can't be like that vs Cotto. He can't let him breath and just pound that body and with effective pressure. The best way Cotto could hurt Tony to the body is if he does a straight jab to it instead of his signature hook.

Both fighters know what happened in the first fight and will make adjustments.

I expect Cotto to come in with vastly improve stamina. Margarito for a change will put the pressure from the very start. IMO

This is going to be a good fight. Good luck to both men.

Besides tony taking everything cotto had to give, u must remember that he pretty much stalked him like a pimp looking for his hooker... If his chin holds up again then cotto will return to that night where he pretty much acknowledged that tony was his true father...

Margarito is a slow starter, though. If he tries to put the pressure on from the get go, I see Cotto KD Marg with a flash counter. All Cotto needs to do is tie Marg up instead of heading for the ropes.
