I have agree with Oscar Ortiz was comming on and taking it to Mayweather he was landing hard body shots HBO and comp box was being bias. Mayweather is Human so nobody knows how Mayweather would have been after taking hard body shots for 10 rounds. I say they would have took it's toll and Mayweather would have been knock out in the 11th round
Your blind and agreeing with a lie. None of those wild punches were connecting. Look at the slow motion and agree with reality, lol. A man coming on has no reason to foul!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last quote from Oscar was along with the coming on comment perplexing to me. Victor best shot the whole fight was his headbutt. There were a lot of moments when May was letting his hands go throwing counters and combos while Vic was eating them with his face. Not the greatest way to make a comeback or change momentum. And as for the last quote I've seen many times when fighters extend their glove to touch only to be swung at or hit. Time is in time to fight its that simple. If some of the ppl that are livid watched more fights they would see what I"m talking about. I'll rather see those kind of fights and let Oscar and Pac fans watch replays of Pac-Mosley.Comment

Floyd needs to man up and honor the rematch to end all this doubt. Be a man of your words floyd, you said you wud give rematch after fight.Comment

He headbutted Floyd and was very lucky not to get DQ'd and then ******ly tried to apologize about 3 times whilst keeping his guard down. He got what he deserved.Comment

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya has posted some critical comments in response to Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s two punch combination that knocked out Victor Ortiz last Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. De La Hoya disagrees with his company CEO, Richard Schaefer, who saw nothing wrong with Mayweather's two-punch hit.

a rematch would be a waste of time -- it was clear from just these 4 rounds that MW is a much better fighter than Ortiz -- was outpunching him 3-1 and basically hitting him at will, even with hard lead rights which MW is not known to throw much -- Ortiz was getting frustrated and desperate, hence the blatant head butt -- that 'controversial' ending was the best thing that could have happened to Ortiz and he knew it -- that's why he was laughing his ass off in his corner afterward -- no question that MW would have continued toying with Ortiz for a while longer and then stopping him without any kind of 'sucker' punch -- now Ortiz can lobby for a rematch and pocket another 2-3 mill while getting beaten up for real this time....Comment

i agree with delafishnets when he says a potentially great fight was cut short by bad sportsmanship.... ortiz had just landed a few big punches that hurt wifebeater... as young as ortiz is, it's possible he would've been able to hurt wifebeater enough to get the fight close (not saying ortiz would win, but it could've been more competitive)Comment

De La Hoya NEEDS to take a better look at the fight & NEEDS to look at it from a NEUTRAL point of vew..I've already seen the fight a couple of times & there's NO DOUBT that Mayweather was dominating & winning that fight & landing that straight right & left hooks at will..& Ortiz was coming in with his head a couple of times & got warned for it & was also hitting behind the head..After Ortiz PURPOSELY LUNGED his head against Mayweather's mouth, the ref(Cortéz) gave Ortiz an earful & took a point & Ortiz apologized & actually kissed Mayweather on the cheek & then apologized again & Ortiz & Mayweather slapped gloves & then Cotez said "LET'S GO!" & SIGNALED BOTH FIGHTERS TO FIGHT & Ortiz decided to apologize AGAIN & sorta hugged Mayweather, but it was ALREADY FIGHT TIME & Mayweather hit Ortiz with a left & instead of Ortiz DEFENDING himself, he LOOKED at the ref(like to see if the ref would say something to Mayweather) & since Ortiz didn't put his hands up, Mayweather dropped the right into his chin & it was over!! Since the ref SAID TO FIGHT, IT WAS NOT ILLEGAL & MAYWEATHER DID THE RIGHT THING, CAUSE MAYWEATHER WAS FIGHTING CLAEN & IT WAS ORTIZ THAT DECIDED TO GET DIRTY, SO HE GOT WHAT HE DESEREVED!!Comment

Victoria was comin on? REally in which round 1, 2 , 3 or 4rth rounds? LMAO! STFU! Just cuz Victoria landed a few body shots doesn't mean he was comin on.. It's boxing you are going to get hit...BUt Money May is the only one who doesn't get hit as much, because he is a defensive magician....You take it to a street fight you get what you deserve, this aint checkers dude.. Its a hurt business... What if May got his eye busted, his nose broken or even a concusion... Victoria got what he deserved, and I think DelaHota is lookin at another fight maybe, because unless you are a bias fan and clueless to who was winning the fight, everyone knows Money May was owning him.. I mean Victoria just got frustrated because whatever he was throwing wasn't landing... ANd they both said it in the FaceOFF that it's different when your in the ring... ANd if you make any mistakes you have to PAY!Comment
