I had Floyd winning all 4 rounds tbh.
Just watched the full Floyd/Ortiz fight for the 1st time

This x100
Everyone seems to be completely ignoring the fact that Ortiz was clearly gaining momentum when he realized he could walk through floyds best shots. Even moreso that nearly anytime Ortiz wanted mayweather against the ropes...he got him there. He was smiling and imo, was suprised at how easily he got floyd against the ropes when he actually tried. Not only that, but Ortiz's money shot, his right hook, was clearly going over the top of mayweathers shoulder and catching him in the temple.
Floyds losing his legs and he knows it, there's a reason he made that comment in the post-conference about everyone asking him to fight these guys when hes 34 and not when he was 24. This new stand-in-front philly shell style the entire fight is nowhere near as effective as his philly shell +high guard back in his lightweight days. Hes going to continue to get caught using this style for an entire fight. The philly shell isn't full-proof, shots go over the top of his left shoulder and there's no protection for that sensitive temple of his. If he doesn't adjust to that (which at this point I don't see how he could), hes going to get caught with a hard right hook against Pacquiao. Best believe that.Comment

LOL at the emoticon comment. Did you see all the punches that Victor missed? The fight wasn't even..at all. And the 4th round wasn't Ortiz' round either. If you watch again, when he was on the ropes, he blocked alot of shots. Don't let your bias get in the way of that. And I really don't intend to spend much more time on the whole 4th round non sense. What Vic did do in the 4th was get knocked out....emoticons don't hide the 4th round i've watched in slow mo. I've seen all the punches Floyd missed.
that got everyone hyped up. I saw all the punches Ortiz landed and frustrated Floyd..
Put a 1000 emoticons It still doesn't take away Floyd against the ropes with a worried expression on his face
He called it an even fight. What was he watching?Comment

everybody in the boxing community thought that floyd was dominating the fight and that floyd was going to eventually knock victor out except for pacquiao of courseComment

I dont see how people have Floyd losing any rounds. To me the 1st was closer then the 2nd and I thought Floyd clearly won the 1st. The 4th round? I dont get it. That was a 1 sided domination. Ortiz had 2 flurries and landed maybe 1 real punch in each flurry. Floyd won like the other 2min & 15sec of the round easilyComment

Yes, it isn't all about punches landed or missed ring generalship plays a part in scoring a round aswell. I personally was giving the round to Ortiz.
and I have no bias. I had money and points on Mayweather and believe he would've stopped Ortiz later anyway.Comment
