    Pac's best chance is his physical abilities. Speed, power punches, combos, conditioning. He needs to hurt Floyd early and not let him settle in and figure Pac out. I think Roach's gameplan his activity will be a big key

      im leaning more in putting my money on floyd tho, its a safer bet.
      I disagree that Pacquiao's fighting spirit is greater than Mayweather's. What are you basing that on exactly? Mayweather was raised to be a fighter ever since he was born pretty much. His fighting spirit is immense, it's obvious that he loves to train and fight. I also disagree with you classifying Pacquiao as a master of offense. Pacquiao is a fast, powerful, active, and awkward offensive fighter, but he isn't a masterful one. He doesn't have a jab, his balance/footwork is shaky at times, and he's wild or undisciplined a lot of the times. It just so happens that he hasn't been in the ring with a guy who can expose those weaknesses in while. This isn't a 50-50 fight in my opinion, I think Mayweather will and should be the clear favorite. He has the reach over Pacquiao, he's just as fast or faster, and he's more skilled offensively and defensively.

        Floyd is on another level he really is , Pac will be lost at sea worse than he was with Mosley who was shot but just had some skills and a little speed , Floyd will have Manny so frustrated and be cracking him cleanly round after round , people talk of Mannys work rate , Im telling you guys it will be reduced to lowest in Manny career that reduction is a May trademark , Floyd is so good and efficient most dont even see what he does , his skill set is amazing and he is very very physically strong but because of his boxing style that asset gets swept under the carpet , Pac wont push him around it will be the other way , nobody in history that is smaller than Floyd could beat him .

          [QUOTE=Larryx2011;11202705]i think Manny has alot of explosive spurts where its looks like he's having success..but after landing 1 punch he'll get tied up and frustrated,i see Floyd breaking him down,busting him up,(cause Manny bruises really easily)and possibly getting a stoppage[/QUOTE

          Are you comparing manny to ortiz? your kidding yourself.. Ortiz was breaking floyd down, landing punches multiple combos in the head and body and floyd was eating it well from this fighter who is supposedly un-hittable?

          If a B class fighter like Ortiz can hit floyd easily, imagine an A class fighter like manny do to him in 12 rounds.

                  If he develops a cut as well, I can personally see Pac getting more & more frustrated.
                  If you analyze the result of their fights against common opponents, except for Marquez where Pac has not yet evolved into what he is now, you will discover that Pac performed better over-all. In the Hatton, DLH and Shane fights, in spite of being the smaller man, Pac outperformed Floyd in most categories except on jabs landed. He landed more punches per round, including on Shane, than Floyd did. When comparing power punches, the difference becomes more acute.
                  Keep in mind that Pac was the smaller boxer in this fights.

                  To illustrate my points, here are some of the comparative figures in those fights:

                  FMJ/Hatton (10 rds) - total punches 329/372 ; landed 129/63 ; pct 39/17 ===P/p landed 100/52 ; pct 39/17

                  Pac/Hatton (2 rds) - total 127/78 ; landed 73/18 ; pct 57/23 === p/p landed 65/16 ; pct 65/16

                  FMJ/DLH (12 rds) - tot 481/587 ; Lndd 207/122 ; pct 43/21 === p/p Lndd 138/82 ; pct 57/24

                  Pac/DLH(8 rds) - tot 585/402 ; Lndd 224/51 ; pct 38/21 === p/p Lndd 195/51 ; pct 59/31

                  FMJ/SM (12 rds) - tot 477/452 ; Lndd 208/92 ; pct 44/20 == p/p Lndd 123/46 ; pct 46/27

                  Pac/Sm (12 rds) - tot 727/330 ; Lndd 224/66 ; pct 31/20 == p/p Lndd 177/22 ; pct 50/28

                  In all 3 fights, pac landed more punches overall per round than Floyd. Floyd, as previously mentioned , landed more jabs/rd and was definitely more accurate than Pac in this category. But in the power punches category, it is the opposite. Not only pac landed a lot more, but his accuracy is higher.

                  In the Hatton fight, pac landed an average of 32 p/p per rd.. With DLH, it was 24/rd. With the running SM, it was still 15/rd.

                  With Floyd, it was 6/rd landed on Hatton, 11.5/rd on DLH and 10/rd on Shane.

                  On the defense department, the figures show that all three opponents were landing more punches on Floyd per rd. than they did on pac.

                  Based on this figures, draw your own conclusions.

                    Dude that's a lie and you know it. He'll he landed 3 flush shots during his flurry before he wen't all E Honda on Floyd, and Floyd was missing A LOT of punches in round 4.

                      To TS, the fight is reliant on how Floyd handles the shots Pac WILL land. If Pac lands early and Floyd gets on his bycicle, he'll be outworked. If he walks through it and tries to walk Pac down things will be more interesting. One thing is for sure, he won't walk out of this fight unscathed.
