Pacquiao fought at featherweight in 2008 and then faced Cotto in 2009. So hate it or not, that explains their catchweight fight.

I love Cotto but neither him nor any of his fans can rationally defend him on demanding a catchweight fight against Margarito. He's already had two legit fights at 154.

Magarito doesnt have his plaster for this fight. unlike the first one. Cotto TKO 10.

I like both fighters, of course I think what Margarito did with the plaster is gutless and if he did know, which he probably did, he should never be able to fight again. That being said, I think the Margarito that fought Pac would beat Cotto. In that fight he still looked like he had the ability to go 12 rounds hard coming forward, which I don't think Cotto handle. With 10 oz gloves it could harder to break Cotto down. Should be a good fight though, I would be happy to see Cotto KO Margs.

Makes me wonder if you heard about the suspension for plaster? Cotto doesn't have to KO Margarito to win. He simply needs 2 more rounds of Stamina and he wins easy. Margo is not Julian Jackson. Cotto hits harder than Tony for starters and Shane proved that Margarito's chin is breakable. You just can't fall for his BS macho smiling act and keep punching him in the mouth. He just might fall like a drunk Mexican. Smiling too.

Remember... He was smiling at Shane even as he fell to the floor and towels came flying into the ring at 100mph.

I think Margarito does not have the power to beat Cotto without his victory wraps.
