he does not need power, all he needs is to beat on you for 12 rounds and gets the decision.

Margarito can't win a decision in Madison Square Garden unless he looks very convincing. Any close rounds will be given to Cotto because:

a-) He's the champion
b-) Madison Square Garden (any punch Cotto throws will get reactions)
c-) Cotto wins in a tough fight...sets up trilogy, and money for Bob

If Margarito wants to win, he's going to pummel Cotto as if Cotto had slept with his wife or something. I can't see how Margarito can get a decision there unless he absolutely thrashes Cotto (and when I say thrash, I mean like Margarito/Golden Johnson). He has to fight possessed.

BTW, I don't think you can just say "Marg's completely shot without his plaster". Mosley knocked him out, and while Mosley got hit, really...who's actually ever HURT Mosley in a fight? Very, very, very few people. He hurt Pacquiao with a body shot and while he lost EVERY round, it's not like Pacquia came out of there unscathed. It sounds like it doesn't make any sense, but it's true. Pacquiao won every round, but he took a lot of punishment in that fight, you can see that in his face. So I really don't buy the "Margarito-plaster=Powerless Margarito" equation.

1) cotto has a corner again - 1st fight he and his uncle weren't even speaking. Cotto follows a gameplan as good as mayweather does.
2) the loss to pac i really cannot speak on because he had no corner - who in the hell can beat pac without a corner?

Pac said margarito was his toughest fight period - margarito is a monster, he trains like a beast !

Steward will have a game plan for cotto - if i am not mistaken, margarito came out of the first fight with a eye injury (detached retna type shyt - maybe not as serious, mosley gave him some injuries and so did pac) I honestly do not see margarito's body holding up through the camp and the fight - he really pushes himself in training and has been in some serious wars - cotto is back to boxing ala steward and as evident in his last couple of fights, but the one thing that steward preaches and practices is the killer instinct, and i think he will push cotto to stick / move / frustrate / and eventually stop margarito - cotto had stamina issues before - dude is already in camp

Margo s a bad stylistic matchup for Cotto unless Kneeguel makes some substantive changes. Cotto needs to shorten the fight.
