Ali wasnt liked because of his political views.

Floyd isnt liked because he's an as.shole.

Ali was loved because of his sense of humor, and the fact he took on fighters who people think he couldnt beat.

Floyd isnt loved. Only his skills are appreciated by boxing fans.

But the MAIN REASON I believe he's the greatest of all is because of what he brings to the sport! No he's not bigger than boxing, but he's BIG for boxing. Whether you want to see him win, or you want to see him lose...YOU'LL WANT TO SEE HIM! Floyd Mayweather brings such an attraction even with that " Bad Guy " image!
U have to judge a fighter on his competition. Floyd is lacking in that department. He has the chance to face the best thats out there, but he chooses not to.
I personally thinks he beats everyone. But i wish he would fight his nearest p4p rivals.

        Proof ? ?
Do you agree with Mayweather that Margarito and Khan were/are also on steroids?
I think Mayweather's took steroids at some stage in his career! His uncle was a ******* smuggler and his dad sounds like he's smacked off his face 24-7, like **** Eklund!

As for styles, there is very little comparison.
It was actually the other way around. Cosell befriended Ali, sttod up for him and constantly gave his "unasked" opinion as to his rights and defended him all the way. Ali was only a confused semi-cretinous kid campared to Cosell, who was a highly literate and very well educated very opinionated, stubborn man.

He lost 5 times yes, twice after retirement(once to ATG Larry Holmes), never got KO'd, a split to Ken Norton and Leon Spinks the year before retirement and once to Joe Frazier!

Lets see 'bigman' Floyd get in the ring with possible ATG Manny Pacquiao and maybe he'd deserve his ATG status....
Maybe if he had fought Mosley, Cotto and Margarito in their prime he'd have more respect but he ducked them all. Even if he lost, at least he had balls and got in the ring with them.... It will be a boxing tragedy if he doesn't fight Manny!
            right on the button...

ali is thousand miles away to floyd...

in and out of the ring

Floyd cheated against Ortiz aswell and who did Ali cheat against that were '3 weight classes' below him???
Heavyweights are all the same weight class you know, if they are 15 stone or 22 stone! I don't hear many people standing up for David Haye who was much smaller and about 3 stone less than Wlad....
I think what he's referring to is the KD by Henry Cooper, which it's rumoured that the bell saved Ali who otherwise wouldn't have been able to get up in time. Also he is supposed to have gained time by his corner deliberately enlarging a small ear in the glove.

Well, I saw the fight on TV at the time, and also have seen it on video several times since. In my opinion he could have beaten the count, although he might have been KD again, or even KO'd. The bell ended that speculation. As for the torn glove gaining him much extra time, well....unless they faked the film and the later videos, there was only a delay of a few seconds.

So it's all pure speculation. Ali showed he had a very good chin, all through his career.

Ali used illegal smelling salts in that fight. hes a cheater and a scumbag. Not to mention all of his controversial decisions, 2 against Norton, Shavers, Young, Jones etc...

And people saying Ali wouldnt have demanded steroid testing? Why didnt he give Foreman a rematch? Why did he force Foreman to fight outdoors in the middle of a jungle? The guy did tons of trash in his career. Imagine Floyd giving a fight to a 6-0-1 fighter. How brave is it to hang on the ropes an entire fight? HOw about when he gave shots to evangelista and wepner...what a freaking joke Ali was. Do not compare him to Floyd.

Mayweather was racist to Manny Pacquiao

Ali was no saint. He cheated on his wife, was racist in many interviews i have seen, and went too far when he trashed talked.

Joe Fraizer helped Ali get his boxing licence re-instated, look how Ali treated him later.

Great fighter, but egotistical jerk imo. No better than Floyd.
