using elbows & for anybody that has said about his use of elbows against Ortiz. (don't start dragging the Hatton fight up or anything else)
1. He was using his forearm to hold Ortiz off because Ortiz was coming in trying to headbutt him. Who the **** wants to be butted in the face? - Defend yourself at all times! That is all Floyd was doing whilst Ortiz basically threw himself into Floyds forearm in desperation.
2. When throwing a hook, the correct way to throw a hook is to follow through with your palm down. If the hook missus the elbow usually should land. Tyson was famous for this as is Michael Katsidis as are many fighters trained by Manny Steward also. This isn't dirty tactics, it's perfect technique on how to throw a hook! Exactly how a hook should be thrown. Your elbow should be parallel to your shoulder - Not dirty, proper technique. If some brainless brawler runs face first into it, it is their fault for being a wreckless idiot.
I can not believe people are making videos by the dozens in an attempt to prove what Ortiz did was perfectly acceptable, it's pathetic.
Making video's to prove Ortiz landed a couple more shots than compubox counted, haha what are you trying to prove seriously?
