Moved to 147lbs and fought Judah, who held the IBF crown and beat him, then he faced another champ in Baldomir and dominated him, then moved up to fight ODLH at 154lbs for Hoya's WBC LMW title, he beat De La Hoya.

Went back to Welterweight and knocked Hatton out, dominated a overmatched Marquez, and apart from the 2nd round when Mosley landed, he came back and dominated the fight. Finally he faced Ortiz who was the champ, he KO'd the champ, and you can say Floyd sucker punched him, but Ortiz headbutted him intentionally, what do you expect? Then in 2005, he beat Pac, when Pac was still a one-handed fighter, and then was KO'd twice in the rematch and the 3rd match. That was because Pac used his new weapon, the right hand.

Then he loses to David Diaz (you could argue Morales win).

He comes back and gets a few wins against sub-par competition until Maidana where he fought his heart out losing a close verdict (to a Maidana who hadn't trained properly), and recently won the WBC belt by getting Bradley stripped, if you want to become a champ, you beat a champ.
