Easy, Castillo was simply better than Floyd and kicked his ass.

The counter puncher always has an advantage in the rematch because he knows how to prepare for the attack whereas the attacker has to do all the work twice over.

yeah, Floyd's shoulder hurt, his feet hurt and his **** was limp.

Floyd would never fight with a bad hand, much less a dislocated shoulder. That was pure Floyd excuse mill.

There is a reason he never fought another top prime fighter again since Castillo.

He is afraid of getting his ass kicked.

I seen those fights. Corales comes to fight with his gloves and not letting his dumbassfollowers to do the fighting for him. He came wanting to fight. Never claimed he is the best fighter of all time while not fighting the best of the era.

i dont get what that has to do with u claiming castillo was done. castillo had a lot of good fights after floyd and there was no way a done fighter puts on a performance like he did against corralles.

I can't say for sure, it may have been a mental thing. Look through boxing history- all or most great fighters have had that guy that gives them a world of trouble.

Fact is and this is honest to god, Floyds mystic won him that 1st fight, he was beaten, but also INJURED he put up a good fight but was outworked no doubt! However the 2nd fight was more a hone on what Floyd would soon and is now capable of..

He defined the odds by continuing a fight Vitali Klitchsko would have quit, and still got the victory on heart, generalship and wit,.. The 2nd fight he basically schooled Castillo for 9 of 12 ronds!

but i reiterate, none of it matters. floyd had a tough fight with a injury, still won it, came back after surgery, fought the same guy again and beat him, then moved on to bigger and better things. keep crying. just direct ur whiny little ***** ass somewhere else.
Like I thought, you don't know how to respond without resorting to stating "crying", "whining" ... man you are starting to sound like LeadUpperCut.

You are the one who contradicted yourself. I merrily pointed it out! I didn't realize you were so sensitive! lol!

Floyd would never fight with a broken hand? Maybe you should watch the Jesus Chavez fight than come back and talk. LOL you haters are so ignorant when it comes to facts about his career. Hatton wasn't prime? And dont use weight as an excuse because Floyd was in his FIRST fight at lightweight while Hatton was at his second fight at welterweight.

It was a fact that Diego was thinking of awaiting jail time during that time (against Floyd). Diego also had the flu ...

                    plus

You guys have Diego himself stating he was weight drained. You even have his trainer Ariza stating years later that he made a mistake with Diego and admitted that Diego was weight drained!!! For a (ex-)trainer to admit that it was his fault years later, that is all the proof you need!

BUT as you have stated, did Diego actually fight for years (later) at the 130lb division? No!!! Diego, just like in the Floyd fight had a chance to fight for the title and so he went for it. So the fact was that Diego tried only against Casamayor for the title at 130. Even against Casamayor, Diego was knocked down about 3 times in those fights.

If you still say, "but if he can't make the weight why try again"?

Now to make it very clear for you .... How many times did Morales fight Manny Pacquiao at 130 even though more than likely many on these forums say that Morales was weight drained? So Morales fought for years at 130 even though he struggled, right?

You full of ****,Diego excuse was not that he was weight drained, his excuse was that he was distracted from his domestic violence case which is bull**** cause Corrales fought Mayweather the same way he fought virtually all his fights.

The weight drain excuse came from other people.

And Floyd at 130 was a big puncher,he stopped Jesus Chavez Hernandez,Manfreddy Justin,Juuko and many others.

Castillo was physically stronger then Floyd and was a great inside technician.
