because anything can happen in a boxing match.

    1. floyd could've had a ****ty training camp.
    2. floyd could've been more distracted than usual.
    3. floyd could've totally underestimated his opponent.
    4. etc. etc. etc. etc.

which is y u can't say floyd beats cotto or floyd beats so and so...because on any given night...Muhammed Ali could lose to some bum off the street.

The torn rotater cuff and plus Castillo fighting the fight of his life, he never let Mayweather rest for a second in that fight. Castillo was drilling the body and moving forward and eating Floyd's shots. I had Castillo winning the first one.

thus why the shoulder injury mattered. its a legit excuse. anyways, castillo was a very good fighter in his prime. imo he beats everyone at 135 rite now and even most at 140. floyd just had a bad night against a good opponent. i still have him winning the fight by a round or 2

I'm not saying he wasn't really injured, I just don't think it's the reason Castillo did so well in the first fight and Floyd did better the second time. I attribute his success in the rematch to just being more comfortable with Castillo as an opponent.

i didn't have the fight close going into the 10th...........the rematch was a clear schooling.

castillio had his moments here & there but was convincingly defused & out boxed, the first fight with the torn cup wasn't like that............thus it's a valid point.

Castilio was a strong come foward fighter with good movement, but yet I would of still expected Floyd to handle him alot easier.

I know people are gonna say styles, yet Floyd has always handled pressure fighters with ease etc Hatton, Gatti, Chavez, Baldomir.

Castilio was able to alot of clean eye catching shots, bully him alot and do alot of good work on the inside.

The fight was almost 10 years ago. let it go. Jose caused Floyd a lot of trouble in the first fight, and Floyd learned a lot from it. He then outboxed Castillo in the 2nd easily, and hasn't had a tough fight since,. Even tho ppl try to mimic the way castillo fought.

Oh and Castillo was a beast at 135.
Stop with the BS torn rotator cuff Floyd has no surgery scars a torn rotator will continue to tear if surgery is not performed. The bottom line is Castillo won 8 rounds in the first fight and 5 in the second that means he won 13 of 24 rounds agnist Floyd. So if your a ball player it was 13 to 11
