i don't know what they are trying to prove. there is an old saying in boxing where the boxer is as good as his last fight.
ortiz came into the berto fight stronger, very motivated, and with a good game plan. in the floyd fight, he didn't. like his ex.trainer said, ortiz is emotionally a very unstable boxer. somehow he felt he could beat berto, but in the floyd fight he was just looking for a way out. has nothing to do with illegal substances.
berto already proved to be a pretty average boxer in the zavec and collazo fights. i'm sure that if there wasn't the clash of heads in berto-zavec, it would have been another close fight for berto. that being said berto better fight some credible opponents, and get some credible wins, instead of fighting bums and accusing others of being drug cheats.

I can't believe you guys are protesting against this. Let Berto and Ortiz alone for a moment and think about it. It just sounds ****** to go against it. If more fighters/promoters or even the commission would press for ODST to be a standard in boxing then we wouldn't be in this mess to begin with.

I wish ODST would be standard in boxing. Boxing is behind almost every other major sport when it comes down to strict drug testing methods.

So let me ask again: Berto and Ortiz put aside, why are you against Olympic style drug testing?

Lol. Berto needs to shut the hell up and redeem himself in some kinda way if he's not willing to avenge his loss.
