Sergio Martinez vs. Floyd Mayweather: who would win?

He's really not much bigger than Floyd.
Floyd's arms are longer at 26".
Floyd has fought a lot of smaller opponents such as Marquez. Pacquiao has no problem fighting bigger men like Margarito.
If he wants to fight strong competition and he's completely finished with MW and JMW he should look north. It's packed.

Martinez only started to box at 20 years old. Floyd has been doing this since he could walk. Martinez would be taken to school over 12 rounds easily.
The first Paul Williams - Martinez fight was arguably one of the fights of the decade. It was too bad nobody knew Martinez at that point and he should have won the first fight as well.
I thought Paul would improve for the rematch but the guy got caught by a punch that Martinez was setting up since the first bell and he should have adjusted.
But lets get one thing clear, Sergio Martinez is no knock out specialist. Yes he is very awkward with his lateral movements but Floyd is too seasoned to be put off by all that and will make Martinez look silly.
I also think Floyd will fight Martinez as his next opponent.

I understand why he's doing it, but I don't think Mayweather or Pacquiao should feel any obligation to fight him.

Martinez would decapitate the cherry picking monkey Floyd.
No way in hell the coward Floyd will even consider fighting Martinez.

I think this is a good time to discuss this fight. Lets seriously look at their advantages.
Footwork- Goes to Floyd. He's more fluent. Martinez seems to get off balance at times and over commits.
Power- Easily Martinez. Floyd hits hard enough to respect. Martinez obviously has one punch power.
Hand speed- Really close. Not sure. Even.
Defense-Floyd's D is the best of a generation.
I always thought this was the best match up for FLoyd of all the fights that could be made. Pacquiao doesnt come with enough to beat Floyd. Martinez will be the first guy thats is much bigger than Floyd and can match speed.
One thing that will hurt Martinez is holding those hands low. Slow guys like Dizzy cant capitalize on it. He and Williams have a non-verbal agreement to brawl it out. Floyd will make him pay for that. Martinez I do believe, can push Floyd around a little. I dont know if FLoyd can adjust to that because he's yet to be bullied.
Keys to winning /Martinez:
Fight the big man fight. Dont try to outbox him.
If he hurts Mayweather dont go crazy like the rest. Step back, pen point punches.
All the way in or all the way out. Floyd controls distance well so if he not roughing him up inside Make Floyd follow.
Keys to winning /FLoyd:
Keep it a clean boxing match. Use smart clinches.
Depend on that right. It can land over those low hands all night.
Land, circle left and clinch. Marvilla doesnt square up and wont be in position to throw effective punches.
Stay off the ropes
Be first. If he waits to counter, Martinez is fast enough to give him big trouble.
At the end of the day I got FLoyd by close decision. No controversy. He may get knocked down for the first time??
