stop drinking the haterade, all boxing fans knows pac build his legacy on the lower weights and what he has been doing today was just an icing on the cake.

he was a lineal champ on 3 division aleady before going up in weights.
Your basically saying it's Ok to give Manny all this credit for being a naturally bigger guy at featherweight because he beat three small future HOF's at their natural fighting weights? Doesn't seem that impressive if you look at it that way, but I'll give him credit for being lineal champs even if 2 out of the 3 were never part of the original 8 divisions of boxing.

but you have to keep in mind that in 2005 when he was fighting these guys, nobody would think in a couple years this dude would be beating up margarito

that's why it stands out so much in people's minds, you just never saw him in the same category as those guys

it'd be like someone telling me that in 2016 gamboa will be fighting canelo or something

you were not aware that pac was the one going up in weights on those fights, do you?

pac-MAB1; MAB was the lineal champ in 126, pac is the lieal champ in 122 beating ledwaba for the title

pac-JMM; @126, JMM holds the other belts and called himself the avoided one.

pac-EM; @130, pac goes up in weight in a non-title fight i guess.. EM was beaten by MAB for the title prior to the fight.

and the MAB fight was 2003.. never heard of outgrowing your division? you want a young boxer to stay on 1 or two division only? only pbf should be allowed to go up in weight when he grow old?

          what has happen to NSB?

floyd on the other hand, as never been one to rehydrate more than a couple pounds

All I'm saying is I like Manny, but being serious his resume is exaggerated. His hardcore fans can't make two separate arguments on the weight issue, which directly contradict each other. If he could have been a natural 135-140 fighter years ago, then that's where he should have been fighting. We could have already saw the Hatton, Cotto, or Mayweather fights at 140 4 or 5 years, and no one would be questioning his legacy or trying to defend it today. Now given the circumstances in which when he fought Hatton and Cotto, red flag are raised like I mentioned in my 1st post.

5yrs ago, he was written off gaainst the big guys.. these were just fantasy fights. how this big guys would walk past pac and submit him under a round or two.

but after the DLH fight, this fantasy became a reality. and for fight fans, became an obsession. fans want him to face bigger oppossition and bigger names. because they saw pac can hang on with the big boys even at a weight disadvantage.

there was a poll 3 or 4 yrs ago here and it was unanimous that pac can't hang with pbf. but after proving his worth, the gap became smaller.

why does the fans want it now, not 4 years before? its because these two cats were way above their competition today and all their opponents wouldn't have a big chance of beating them. that's why people are shouting for them to fight now..

^^ i think nature boy want to hang pac for going on a diet to fight in lower weights.. the way he post its a fscking crime for him.. using his logic, who else, who have done what pac have done in their whole career, could we fscking nail to the cross?

                    oh wait...! yeah..

so you want every match now for the boxer to have the same weight on fight night?

for the record, he outweighs them on the rematches, not on the first fight. and even that, doesn't fighters evenly matched if they both make the cut on the official weigh-in?

a naturally bigger guy is castillo against diego.. pbf against jmm.. victor against pbf and margo against pac..
