Listen, I have NEVER came out and said that Pac was on PEDS. I just always debated if he wasn't, then why he could not accept the tests and what was with all the excuses? Pac is a good fighter but the guys he fought weren't in top form and that should not be denied. Pac has looked dominate but all of the fighters he fought did not have the technical style of JMM and the fact that Pac hasn't been in with a boxer who is a good counter puncher then we don't know how really well he will do against JMM this time around. Pac strengths is when his opponents pressure and iniciates the fight. I always thought that Pac could be out muscled but his speed gives him the advantage. If JMM can find a way to throw Pac off his rhythm then it should be a competitive fight. People are acting like Juan Manuel Marquez has been looking like a washed up fighter since he last fought Pac. Only fight he lost was against Mayweather.

Marquez is a ****ing legend!!! I am always disappointed that he doesn't get more respect, or maybe he does and I'm missing it. Unfortunately I think he gets knocked out in this one. probably around the middle rounds. This weight is just too high for him. When he fought Mayweather, the one thing that stood out to me was the size differential. I thought he might be able to make the fight interesting and adjust to Floyd's speed, but he just couldn't get close enough, hell Floyd walked in at 160 that night. This fight with Pac will be a little different, as both fighters have always been in the same region as far as size goes. That said, Pacquaio has improved and seems to be stronger after moving up. That's not to say Marquez won't have his moments in the fight, I just think he's outgunned this time around.

You mentioned Pac's last few opponents lacking the technical skills to compete with him. Well that sure as hell can't be said about Marquez. At the end I think we'll have more questions than answers as Marquez still hangs at times but eventually gets dropped.

Marquez has trainers and Dr's to help with weight and keep speed after he says he learned his lesson about moving up in weight against Money and the way i see it if Pac can move up 3 classes in 2-3 years while getting stronger and faster why cant Marquez at least keep his speed and strength.

Do you think before you talk??? Manny has fought 1 more fight at a catchweight than Floyd and that was to move up, not down. Hatton at the time undefeated and #1 at 140, Clottey #4 WW at the time, Cotto #2 WW at the time, Margarito was a champ at 147 and lost his tittle to the #3 WW, Mosley was #4 WW at the time. So how is beating the Top 5 of your division a bad thing???? Manny has been a WW for a shorter period than Floyd and was able to fight Cotto, Margarito, and Clottey. Guys who have been top 10 WW for the longest... What does Manny have to do to impress you on Nov. 12? State it now so when he does it you won't have an excuse afterwards. Go on record... 5Rd KO, 7 Rd KO??? How can a guy win if you say if he fights this way that will happen and that way that will happen. If you put that out there, if its a tough fight you'll say see I told you so and If Manny KOs him in 4 Rd you'll say well he fought the other way. You can't lose either way. Go on record and state what Manny's has to do to impress you?

Floyd Mayweather Jr has only fought 1 catchweight fight and that was against Marquez. Manny Pacquiao fought 1 at WW, 1 at JW and now another at WW. That's 3. Manny fought Cotto at a 145 catchweight AFTER he fought Oscar at 147.

Almost everything you posted are acceptable except the "The weight is just too high for him."
For the past several years, Marquez has been coming in on fight night at 140+ lbs.. His real comfort zone is within that range. Pac's comfort zone is only about 3 lbs. higher. Everything else are almost equal. Keep in mind that JMM won his last fights weighing above 140 lbs. and the guys he fought weighed in the same range.

When people say that JMM shouldn't be fighting Pac at WW, they wrongly equate this by assuming that he will be facing a bigger guy. That is farthest from the truth. This coming fight is evenly matched. When people say that Marquez does not belong in the WW division, they are rightly assuming that JMM is too small to be fighting bigger and taller guys who will re-hydrate to over 155 lbs., like in the Floyd's case. However, that will not be the case when he faces Manny.

Manny Pacquiao is not knocking Juan Manuel Marquez out. The only way to see how much Pac has improved is to watch them fight in November.

do you think it's a different situation when miguel cotto put his belt on the line to fight manny at catch weight? manny was the smaller fighter and i really admire miguel for giving a fair fight since he is naturally bigger.

manny and jmm got the same body frame, i don't see any advantage or disadvantage, they could come to fight at their comfortable weight.

this is jmm's biggest pay, and 'am happy for him, he's a boxing legend and he deserves it before he retires. he got nothing to loose, it's a win-win situation for him, especially if he beats manny. many posters here are saying that jmm is manny's kryptonite because of his skills, that makes the fight more interesting. manny's power against jmm's skills..anything can happen, don't you think so?..
