I think it will depend on how Marquez decides to come to fight. If he comes to fight like he did with Katsidis, and Juan Diaz, where he got hit way too much, I think the fight gets stopped inside 5 rounds.

However if Marquez decides to be a bit elusive, stick, move and counter punch then this fight might go the distance. Mosley's back peddling gave Pacquiao issues, in their fight; he just couldn't ever seem to get off and really take it to Mosley, so if Marquez can do the same while countering, he might be able to at least make it competitive.

Juan Manuel Marquez fought a great fight against Michael Katsidis. I was really impressed by JMM in that fight.

Pacquiao should not KO Marquez, he should let Marquez win some rounds to make it a close fight, to make it seem like he struggled against Marquez, KOing Marquez will kill the Mayweather fight, but it might backfire and Pacquiao loses by decision.

If I was Pacquiao and I know that I already won the fight, I let Marquez win some rounds.

????? Pac ain't that good to the point he could toy around with Juan Manuel Marquez. Only reason why people think Pac will dominate this fight is because Pac has been beating up guys with no technical fight game at catchweights. Since they last met in 2008. Juan Manuel Marquez has fought the better fighters. People are giving Pac too much props over JMM. Pac has never been dominate over JMM, so what makes everyone so confident that he will now. Pac may win but dominate JMM? I don't think so but will find out in a couple of months.

Roach said the same thing about Margarito and they failed. He also said the same thing about Mosley, and despite Manny pressing he failed to do so on a guy that wasn't even throwing punches, just backing up.

I think Marquez will get KO'd simply because he is old and he will stand and trade punches at the wrong time and get caught.

It doesn't matter if he KO's him or not. Roach always says that and when they fail, Pacquiao is praised higher. He beat Margarito and he was Henry Armstrong. He beat Mosley, and he was GOAT. He "must" not do anything, he's still going to get over inflated credit for this win as he always does.

A. He's getting old
B. He STILL can't handle defensive counter punchers
C. All the above

Pac should have the LW out in no time while connecting at least 56% of his shots and only allowing JMM to connect no more than 15%... It should be very very very very very easy fight for Pac.

Pac made a prime De la Hoya quit, he knocked out an undefeated Hatton, an undefeated Cotto, he destroyed the ATG Clottey, beat an ATG Margarito and he beat the best Mosley we all have ever seen! Mayweather was almost ko'ed and lost to Mosley, the judges lied... Floyd payed them, its only facts. Just like Pac is a god... It's a fact. I read it..... in a book!

Listen, I have NEVER came out and said that Pac was on PEDS. I just always debated if he wasn't, then why he could not accept the tests and what was with all the excuses? Pac is a good fighter but the guys he fought weren't in top form and that should not be denied. Pac has looked dominate but all of the fighters he fought did not have the technical style of JMM and the fact that Pac hasn't been in with a boxer who is a good counter puncher then we don't know how really well he will do against JMM this time around. Pac strengths is when his opponents pressure and iniciates the fight. I always thought that Pac could be out muscled but his speed gives him the advantage. If JMM can find a way to throw Pac off his rhythm then it should be a competitive fight. People are acting like Juan Manuel Marquez has been looking like a washed up fighter since he last fought Pac. Only fight he lost was against Mayweather.

Do you think before you talk??? Manny has fought 1 more fight at a catchweight than Floyd and that was to move up, not down. Hatton at the time undefeated and #1 at 140, Clottey #4 WW at the time, Cotto #2 WW at the time, Margarito was a champ at 147 and lost his tittle to the #3 WW, Mosley was #4 WW at the time. So how is beating the Top 5 of your division a bad thing???? Manny has been a WW for a shorter period than Floyd and was able to fight Cotto, Margarito, and Clottey. Guys who have been top 10 WW for the longest... What does Manny have to do to impress you on Nov. 12? State it now so when he does it you won't have an excuse afterwards. Go on record... 5Rd KO, 7 Rd KO??? How can a guy win if you say if he fights this way that will happen and that way that will happen. If you put that out there, if its a tough fight you'll say see I told you so and If Manny KOs him in 4 Rd you'll say well he fought the other way. You can't lose either way.
