    Be honest lets say Floyd...

beats an up & comer (say for example Mike Jones gets a few more good wins under his belt against higher level opposition)

Say Floyd beats him, he beats Amir at Wembley & finishes off by beating Manny Pacquaio.

Do you admit/think he will go down as the G.O.A.T?

I personally think he is already. Best boxer I've ever seen tbh & right up their with Roy & Sugar Ray.

Bit of a side note but when Khan moves upto 147 (to avoid Matthysse, Prescott, Maidana etc) he's not fighting Floyd because he'll get knocked clean into retirement by Kell Brook. Just putting that out there.
You may laugh but lets be fair Brooks fought at 147 for ages, been as high as 154 & flatlined guys (Not saying he's fought at the highest level) But remember this kids the same age as Khan. He's as fast as Khan, more skillful, stronger, hits twice as hard, sets his shots up better. Better defence, combinations, footwork, balance, etc...

He would be top 5 in my opinion if he did that, but I still couldn't justify putting him ahead of Ray Robinson

The guy has beaten around half a dozen or more hall of famers.
          42-0 (currently)
          5 weight world champion.
          Outstanding amateur.
          Biggest draw in boxing history.
1998 & 2007? Ring magazine fighter of the year.
Highest punch accuracy in boxing history.
Possibly the best defence in boxing history (Pernell Whitaker could make a case)

          That isn't half the ****.

He's clowned just about every fighter he has ever fought. Dominated beyond words. He is so great no other fighter has been studied anywhere near as much.

A win over Khan & Pac on top would be the icing on the cake.

did you really mean the bolded? lol.

you could have an argument as one of the best skilled boxers of all time, but ATGness is measured by resume. duran may only be half as skilled as SRL but he's higher.

Ortiz hit Mayweather illegally - Floyd hit him legally. What is the problem?
Who is the greatest fighter then to ever live? And i'll more than likely reply with the same logic you used.
                  Is it Sugar Ray?

It's not going down as one of Mayweather's best wins, but to be fair, even if he had beaten Victor, I doubt most people would've give him credit anyway.

After all, 90% of his opponents are cherrypicks, right?
