Even though Floyd is still a great boxer, Even if somehow Khan did manage to beat him if they ever fought he won't get much credit for beating a 35 36 year old past prime Floyd when he's a 25 year old man and in his prime.. It would be more about Floyd finally getting old and over the hill than anything because we all know a against a prime Floyd at say 25 when he had more movement and bounce in his legs Khan would not stand a chance.. its not like he really has much of a chance now, but against a prime Floyd he would have 0 chance...

The one fight he had without Ariza found him in the ring looking like an ordinary fighter. Against Floyd, you will not have Ariza's 'stuff' to assist you. The fight will play out like the McCloskey fight played out. Only the end will find Khan kissing the canvass. Stay in your lane youngster.

I get it now though, I think Khan is JEALOUS OF the attention Ortiz is getting, I think Khan feels he is better then Ortiz (and he is) and he should be in that Spotlight Ortiz was in during this fight...and NOT Ortiz

Khan has a minimal chance and I really hope that people don't pay for any more "Floyd/Manny vs. much easier opponent" with the hope that they face each other next. It just gives each side even less incentive to give us the fight we really should have.

Floyd has a gargantuan edge in ring IQ and skills and would pick Khan apart after taking a couple rounds to adjust.

I give him little credit if he faces Khan next and I'll be surprised if Khan is able to win more than 2 rounds.

Were not saying wait til floyd is 50. Were saying prove yourself first, like instead of fighting peterson next have your next fight against ortiz in december, then berto in march, then floyd late 2012(sept.-dec.). Reasonable?

This is the fight business boys, you can't blame a young fighter for wanting to step up to the next weight division and challenge the top guy. If more in boxing DID EXACTLY THIS boxing would be in better shape then it is now, especially in the USA.

So before you tear a strip of an ambitious kid who wants to risk it all, think if only the rest of the fighters were of the same mentality we would be enjoying some hey days all over again, but alas we are not.

Currently it's fashionable to get given a belt and hold it hostage. The sooner we can get away from that mentality the better. I know Khan flaps his lips a lot and will get stopped by Floyd more than likely but i can't flame a kid wanting to step up even if he talks about it non stop.
