I just don't see how Cortez blew it.

If you re-watch the tape, before Cortez says "Let's go", both fighters were in neutral corners. According to NSAC rules, this is good refereeing.

The only gripe I can acknowledge from the haters are when they say "Cortez wasn't looking at Ortiz get KO'd". I can slightly understand that. Maybe Cortez should look at a fighter get KO'd in case the punch was illegal. But besides that, Cortez/Mayweather did nothing wrong.

What people don't understand is forget taking a point away, Ortiz is lucky he wasn't DQ'd for the headbutt.

Two totally different styles but he quite possibly is. Manny uses an ambush in-out style & is generally more aggressive, Floyds more of a counter puncher with the higher ring I.Q & reflexes.

Both have A-A+ speed IMO
