I can't see how Manny could get off against Floyd

  • Whats sad is that Floyd's fans have more confidence in him then he does in himself. If Manny was easy pickings, Floyd would have fought him already. Floyd's waiting for Pac to lose so he can claim that he was right all along and that Pac wasn't worth fighting. No man in his right mind would pass up on millions and add to his legacy if he wasn't worried about losing.

Again, it's not about hitting Floyd. In combat Sports you're always gonna get hit very often. The question is though, how constantly does Floyd gets hit compared to other current Boxers? The task is, could anyone hit him consistently enough for 12 rounds like Jose Luis Castillo did? At the end of the day, Floyd is a more complete Boxer than Manny(abilities-wise).

        • REMATCH REMATCH HAS TO HAPPEN MAN.

Honestly AGAIN. I never seen floyd get tagged so cleanly and so much just in round 4 of Ortiz fight. Floyd and his team know they need to setup a rematch.

In the DLH fights, sure, Floyd had a better percentage in landing his jabs. But pac had a higher percentage on power punches and landed at a higher rate (24/rd compared to Floyd at 11.5 /rd average). That nullifies the claim that Floyd is the more accurate boxer. Remember that Floyd has a considerable longer reach than Pac which should give him more opportunities to land his punches. As far as defense, DLH landed the same percentage on both boxers. That again nullifies the other claim that Floyd has better defense.

The statistics in the Mosley fights showed the same pattern as shown in a previous post.

With regards to the Hatton fights, in two rounds, Pac landed 73 out of 127 total punches thrown or 57%. His power punches was more impressive, 65/105 or 62%.
Floyd on the other hand landed 129/329 or 39%. His power punches were the same, 100/257 or 39%.
Again, there goes the accuracy claim.

On the defense side, Hatton landed at 23% on Pac, and 17% on Floyd. Still not a big difference considering that Hatton was smaller and had shorter reach than Floyd.
Carpe diem, you continue to claim that Floyd is a more complete boxer than Pac. Floyd's performance against common opponent does not support that.
Don't throw around statements that are not backed up by evidence.
Produce your evidences or shut up!

Exactly, u said it urself in a combat sport u're always gonna get hit but how consistant? Well pacman doesn't need to land 60 punches to Floyd in a round consistantly, if he lands 5-10 punches each round that's enough to do damage. It's not how many punches u throw that will win u fight, but it's the punches that count that will win u the fight and pacman have a lot of those moments.

Common, that video is so biased... You could do the same to Floyd, just show when he misses punches.. Manny beat the **** out of both Cotto and Mosley so whats the point in showing the punches he missed?

                  • Manny his gonna hit him hard with the left.

                    Floyd will get hurt.

                    • Pac KD's Floyd a couple times with explosive shots he didn't see coming.

Floyd picks up Pac's unorthodox rhythm late in the fight but loses on points.

                      Pac UD12.

Or, Floyd could play matador all night and punch one at a time trying to counter an advancing Pac in a very boring 12 rd fight.

In that case, Floyd SD12, only because judges won't give Floyd the UD fighting defensively against a superstar like Pac.
