Manny isnt 164 like Ortiz,isnt 10 years younger,he's a smaller fighter who fights with aggression,Floyd has a lil trouble with him early and stops him in 9 to 10 rounds imo..Manny wont be able to adapt on the go like Floyd can..Floyd will have him very frustrated and he will make a terrible mistake

You are saying that Floyd is better defensively and a better counter puncher. That again is an observation not supported by statistics.

In the DLH fights, sure, Floyd had a better percentage in landing his jabs. But pac had a higher percentage on power punches and landed at a higher rate (24/rd compared to Floyd at 11.5 /rd average). That nullifies the claim that Floyd is the more accurate boxer. Remember that Floyd has a considerable longer reach than Pac which should give him more opportunities to land his punches. As far as defense, DLH landed the same percentage on both boxers. That again nullifies the other claim that Floyd has better defense.

The statistics in the Mosley fights showed the same pattern as shown in a previous post.

With regards to the Hatton fights, in two rounds, Pac landed 73 out of 127 total punches thrown or 57%. His power punches was more impressive, 65/105 or 62%.
Floyd on the other hand landed 129/329 or 39%. His power punches were the same, 100/257 or 39%.
Again, there goes the accuracy claim.

On the defense side, Hatton landed at 23% on Pac, and 17% on Floyd. Still not a big difference considering that Hatton was smaller and had shorter reach than Floyd.

I can see floyd holding and grabbing onto manny each time manny tries to unload but i see manny catching floyd and hurting him in the later rounds. I think people is still under estimating manny's punching power. If he can drop mosley with a shot that wasnt really clean just imagine what he will do to floyd. The difference between ortiz and manny is ortiz throws 1-2 punch only compare to manny's 4-5 punch at a time. 3 of those might miss but guarantee 1 or 2 is gonna land.
