-An Al Haymon affiliate gave an interview saying: "The Floyd/Pac fight will NEVER EVER happen. Certain fights arent meant to be made and this is one of them"

-Floyd himself said Pac has to take OSDT in order to fight him. Pac now agrees. Floyd now says Pac has to get his business in order first. "I can make $70mil a fight without Pacquiao. I dont need Manny Pacquiao"

The Mayweather camp doesnt sound too interested in fighting Pac!

You only started this thread because you, nor any pac fan, can come up with a logical reason why MAnny told ESPN "there is no more issues with testing, The only issue remaining is guaranteed purse."

Most pac fans say floyds OST request is a roadblosk or floyd is afraid to fight. Just like you they use quotes to justify their opinions. How about you do this, just evaluate Manny's "wanting the fight" based on the above satement.

Seems clear manny is throwing up "roadblocks". but you guys wont address that. Why?

So according to you Floyds new excuse is "Pac needs to get his business in order first."? I dont see how you could twist that to mean he wont fight him. That is absurd. Look at the obvious, hes saying the fight wont happen while Arum is in the picture. Not only that, but I think Floyd would like to see Arum miss out on the millions they will make when they fight. The ultimate **** you to Arum.

Floyd has been quoted recently that Manny is asking for a 30 day cutoff and scheduled testings... Do you honestly believe Floyd with this statement?
Those are details of the first negotiations...

Even if you don't believe Manny said he agrees to everything, Koncz said on 24/7 they offered 7 days...

So why is Floyd is still regurgitating 1st negotiations details?

How exactly is that a roadblock?

So Manny should get less than what he deserves just because he wants the fight more? Doesnt make much sense to me.

And if it was a "roadblock" why is the blame put on the guy who is telling the public what the issue is? Seems to me like its the exact same issue with Floyd, except he wasnt the one telling ESPN.

Dunn, do you agree that guaranteed purse has to be renegotiated everytime they officially negotiate?
They already agreed on the split, which can carry over to subsequent negotiations. But guaranteed purses would be different, since the marketability of the fight changes everytime there is a failed negotiations and/or delays.

Lets just hope Floyd doesnt pull a repeat and announce an opponent the same day Pac fights JMM. By years end it'll be much more clear who's ducking who. If Floyd chooses to go on yet another vacation or fight someone else before a fight between him and Pac can be negotiated, then it's him. If Floyd gets serious about the fight and calls out Pac, and Pac goes back on his word as far as testing, then its him!

What I don't get with all of this is not only does Floyd beat Pac but he beats Pac even worse than he was beating Ortiz before the KO. I just wouldn't understand why he wouldn't want to fight someone he knows he can beat.

hmm...you may be right about this. i won't be surprised when floyd announces his next non-pac fight after the marquez/pac trilogy.

Manny IMO is saying he wont sign unless he is happy with his guaranteed purse, same way he didn't sign because OST was in contract. As pac fans, does this sound like someone who wants to fight? Since there is so much analysis of floyd's quotes, how come you pac fans don't analyze this?

Not the point bucktoothed. Obviously it has to be discussed but thepoint is what is manny saying when he says this? Why isn't this analyzed? Besides, the guarantee is a TR/Manny internal discussion not involving floyd.

If you mean renegotiated, do you mean manny gets more than original or do you mean they base it fairly on revenue geneerated by each fighter?

Nothing to say about top rank trying to sign Tim Bradley? HMMM me thinks pac's next opponent is being selected already? What about you pacfan?
