I'd also say Dave Starie was better than Reid. A 16-year-old Starie beat an 18-year-old Reid in the juniors, (for what its worth Starie also won ABA's in 93 at light-middle and won ABA's in 94 at middle).

you know them cuz u have an unhealthy obsession with these dorks.

nobody knows them cuz they arent worth remembering.
Nobody on this site has a clue who Nigel Benn or Chris Eubank are because they retired 10 years ago

Woodhall was never a great fighter and never a big name, but he was a little better than Reid.

sugar ray leonard retired 8 years ago, and people still remember him. marvin hagler retired 18 years ago and people still remember him.

retiring X years ago doesnt determine how memorable you are.

How can anybody remember Hagler or Leonard if they weren't even born when they were fighting

          Crazy.

Look dude at the end of the day Benn and Eubank were and are household names in Britain, they were and are well-known celebrities and are the legends of British boxing, like it or lump it. I don't know what your problem is, wether it's jealousy or what.

they were well known in britain? so?

were they well known world-wide (you know, the world? the area where it all counts?) i doubt it.

fighting a bunch of average fighters in ur same country with no real challenges doesnt make you great.

It's common knowledge that Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank were very well-known WORLD-WIDE (you know, OUTSIDE of the US). All of their fights were shown world-wide on ProBox and they were superstars.
