Richie Woodhall was better than Robin Reid he did good with Jones Jr at the 88 Olympics, came close to stopping Holmes with a dislocated shoulder, robbed against Beyer.. Richie had a tight defence and quick hands but never really learned to plant his feet.

I'd also say Dave Starie was better than Reid. A 16-year-old Starie beat an 18-year-old Reid in the juniors, (for what its worth Starie also won ABA's in 93 at light-middle and won ABA's in 94 at middle).

Look dude at the end of the day Benn and Eubank were and are household names in Britain, they were and are well-known celebrities and are the legends of British boxing, like it or lump it. I don't know what your problem is, wether it's jealousy or what.

He was sheltered and didn't face one great world class fighter in or anywhere near their prime.

In the grand scheme, that's nothing that merits anything close to what would be considered greatness.

It's common knowledge that Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank were very well-known WORLD-WIDE (you know, OUTSIDE of the US). All of their fights were shown world-wide on ProBox and they were superstars.
