uppercut2head, then I suggest Floyd at least fight Martinez or Khan. Both have been calling him out. Also, why not give Cotto a shot? If he convincingly beats Margarito then it's very likely many will consider him to have one legitimate loss (to Pacquiao, which some fans of Floyd don't consider legitimate due to the weight issue) and that was before he got Stewart as his trainer.

We never saw Floyd fight a Mosley or Dela Hoya in their prime, Casamayor, Tszuyu, Cotto, Freitas, Margarito (though the guy may very well have been cheating), or Williams.

So hopefully we get to see him finish his career fighting the P4P best.

He's not about fighting the best of the beat, in their prime, or he would have fought Mosley in his prime, and he would fought Pacquiao, Khan, and Maidana by now. He would have gone up one weight class and called out Sergio Martinez by now. He would have gone up and called out Bernard Hopkins by now, like Leonard did fighting Hagler. The problem for Floyd is one day all tour money will be gone ( sooner than later). Then what... "you weren't that great Floyd. You avoided Pacquiao you're entire career". That's your future Floyd.
You do realize that bernard hopkins fights at 175 right and hasn't fought lower than 168 in recent memory and he is not making that weight anyway, because it would be suicide for him to try to go lower and you want someone who has never fought above 154 to bypass two weight classes, you are a genuis. For your information he did call out Mosely, but Mosely did not want the fight. You do realize Maidana is in a lower weight class, along with Khan right now. So if he fights and beats Maidana, it will be he fought a smaller man. Also, Khan just became this "great" fighter remember how it took him time to build up his reputation after the "KNOCKOUT." Also, don't bring up Mosely because after he beat Margirito, he was begging for a fight with Pacquio, he even went so far as to say he would fight him at 144, so they fought, what the fight was two almost three years later after he had showed signs of fading. Same argument can be said for Pacquio, why isn't fighting these fighters, oh right it is ok, because he fought De le hoya, Mosley, Hatton all after Floyd beat them. Let's examine the fighters Pacquio has beaten: Cotto, who everyone said wasn't the same fighter after he lost to Margirito, De Le Hoya who weighed 144 (hadn't fought that low since he was a welterweight) and could rehydrate about 150, who was in his late thirties which makes it harder for your body to recuperate, Mosely who had just came off a draw to Mora, Clottey that says it all, and Margirito who had been banned for a year, oh and I didn't even include all of the catchweights. Also, he should have fought Marquez before now, oh wait he wasn't a big enough draw, but now he is. Don't talk about money because anytime a fight for Pacquio is mentioned Arum always talks about money.

I agree with you, there are some fights I would like to see him take, but my issue is, he is not doing anything no one else is doing. And he did call out those fighters in their prime with the exception of margirito, they chose not to fight, it was not until he was the draw and they were guarenteed to make their biggest purse did they want the fight. Also, we both know floyd will not fight Cotto (he has been accusing Pacquio of fighting his, so i can promise you he will not fight Pacquio's). Khan just elevated his game, so give floyd sometime and Martinez has not been calling him out like has been Pacquio. You have to remember that no one sells a fight like Mayweather so you have to give it time to see what he is actually going to do in reference to Khan.

Well, Cotto did get Stewart as his trainer, so you could argue he may very well be better then when he fought Pacquiao.

Martinez has been calling both out. If Floyd won't fight Pacquiao then he should probably fight Martinez over Khan as Martinez is more deserving. This isn't to say Khan-Mayweather isn't a compelling fight and that it would generate more money, but a Mayweather-Martinez fight pits the #1/#2 P4P fighter against the #3-#5.

With all the delirium cast upon the waters in the boxing world, its most obvious :

Jr Has, is and will continue to DUCK the PACMAN

Roach has said it best, no need to say anything further but that without a doubt I know what Jr is.

                  He is not a sportsman

He is not here to clean up the division

HE IS A CONTROL FREAK and actually those are weak words.

HE wants to control PAC and Pac and the team will not go for it.

PAC has done more for Legacy sake, history sake , the sake of the sport than Jr will ever achieve.

Jr. will go down as a rich spoiled brat who lost it all
