And still you need to write in bold and big letters to try to get attention, flooding these boards with irrelevant nonsense.

      he calls Floyd the MVP.

once you read that, can you take him seriously?

His skills are half man, half amazing.
      nuts, mouth, end thread.
      Pacquiao fans are casual fans.
      Mayweather fans are casual fans.

see what I did there ^^

Mayweather Jr is famous for ducking every big fight in every division he has even been in, and cherry picking opponents. but now that Pacquaio is doing it, suddenly Mayweather Jr faced all comers and Pacquiao cherry picked his whole career.

Mayweather fans find it so easy to forget. Corrales is top 3 for opponents close to their prime that Mayweather beat. Fkin Corrales....seriously [may he RIP]

I'm not about to debate on a thread that was created solely because a forum member enjoyed reading my post and thought others might enjoy it as well.

I see that there are mixed reviews. I'm flattered that some see merit in what I wrote.

However, all these haters are beneath me.

Forum members like jrosales13 and Cupocity303 are filled with hate and envy. They are bitter and jealous that no one has ever enjoyed anything that either of them has written to the point that its mentioned anywhere but the thread that its written in. And even then no one seems too interested in their comments.

Its important to not that I myself did not create this thread, but instead of discussing the merits of what I wrote, losers like those two wish to attack my character because I've embarrassed both of them in the past.

Others have called my post racist and claim that it was a tribute to African American styles and fighters.

Show me where my post has anything to do with race. Hell, if you really got the gist of what I wrote it really had less to do with Mayweather and more to do with his abilities and skills .. but only someone who didn't start off reading with a girlish scorn would recognize that.

This site is full of jealousy and insecurity. My post never once mentioned race or national pride. My post never mentioned "slick" styles or other Black fighters for anyone to get the idea that there was any "theme" going on. Its simply that some people see and hear what they want to.

I did not say that casual fans are bad for the sport, or even bad people at all. In fact casual fans make up the majority of boxing's fanbase. They are the majority without a doubt. That does not mean that they understand, have practiced, trained or studied the sweet science. Its hard to appreciate something if you don't know what you're seeing.

Some of you are correct. I was inaccurate when I said that "all" Pacquiao fans are casual fans. Most are, but some are actual astute boxing students. However, even the most astute students of the game are prone to falling for hype.

Case in point: Prince Naseem Hamed.

He was supposed to be the greatest thing since the Marquis of Queensbury was instituted. Nearly all the experts hyped him up to be the next coming of Ali because up until Barrera, he had fought an assortment of Euro-bums and a faded Kevin Kelly.

All it took was someone who was fundamentally sound to show the world the truth.

Experts where left shaking their heads because the hype PROMISED that Hamed was supposed to reign for years to come. No one had ever seen anything like this young ****y kid who had dynamite in both fists. They were caught up in believing that a good thing had arrived because they wanted to believe it.

So yeah, I'm sure that some Pacquiao fans are true fans, but like Hamed fans they believe what they want to believe, and not necessarily what's true and accurate.

If someone disagrees with that, then please just explain how a man how hasn't faced a top three fighter or even a reigning champion in 3 years, but you still claim that he is on top of the boxing world.

Will your answer be" Because other writers say so"?

Will your response be "because the media has bestowed several accolades upon him"?

Will you answer be that because Pacquiao is "so small" that no matter who he fights the merit and value of his matches should be equal to those fighting the #1, 2 & 3 in their own divisions?

Explain how facing men who are no longer among the champions of their division is tantamount to beating the best?

I'm issuing this TO ALL OF YOU who feel as though what I have written isn't calling it like it is.

Save your petty insults for people who give a damn about your feelings.

You want to talk boxing? I'm up for it. Anyone who sees themselves up for it should step up and bring their facts with with them.

Because as I've already written, Pacquiao is a blast to watch but I won't call a mule a thoroughbred. Mules kick like a mother fcuker but they aren't winning any races and therefore will never been seen as the best of any era. Sluggers/brawlers rarely if ever are regarded as the best of any era.

            Thanks again Sandman.
