The problem is, Floyd was supposed to win easily anyway according to certain "fans". People are just looking for something to hate about. At the end of the day Floyd only hurt himself because he didn't give himself the chance to destroy the kid and actually get the KO. In that case people would just say it was supposed to happen.
No matter what its bad press. People just want to cry about it one way or another. Like I said, at the end of the day Floyd only hurt himself for not waiting and putting on a boxing clinic that he had already done for 4 rounds. It was only getting worse and the score cards/Compu-Box reflect it.
Besides, most fighters said they would have done the same thing. Not that it matters but everyone I watched it with (non boxing fans) loved the fight, the KO and were yelling that Floyd should have "KOed that old man" (speaking of Larry). Like I said they're not boxing fans and were entertained. I think the only people really butt hurt are the Pac fans for what ever reason. Possibly because Floyd looked better than ever not to mention got an official KO victory.
What happened to all of those " Gayweather is feather-fisted " posters?
