He'd rather demean all his achievements by draining himself for a battering by Pac than change his mind about fighting Floyd after seeing him dismantle a 164 fighter with ease.

Sergio constantly touted himself with a Floyd fight because he really believed that he wouldn't be able to handle a huge fighter. His opinion changed over the course of Saturday night.

im pretty sure martinez knows his body more than u. if the guy says he's coming down to 150 to fight pac whats wrong with this and why hate pac for it? is pac the one calling for martinez to come down?? and lets be real about the floyd part LOL!!!!! martinez fighting floyd at a higher weight would be all in martinez's favor, why would he scratch that out to drain himself just so he can fight pac. Things that will be guaranteed if Martinez accepts a fight south of 154
He will lose
He will have jeaopardized his health
He will get beaten up and (leave chinese as some else put it)
He will make good money (and lose his integrity)
He will most likely lose any hope of a realistic bout with Mayweather at 154 (which Floyd has fought and succeeded)

this is a bad fight for pac sergio is huge compared to pacquiao. funny how everyone is hating on pacquiao that he wont take this fight. but praise mayweather for fighting ortiz. mayweather said he wants the biggest names. why didn't he choose martinez. im sure martinez wouldve fought him at jr middleweight (154).thats i fight i'd love to see, great defense against great offense. and theyre both closer to the same height than mayweather and pacquiao. i still think mayweather is too big for pacquiao.

Once again it's proper protocol. Manny is looked at as #2 behind Floyd. Sergio has maintained this from the day one. The way to get the #1 guy is to beat the #2 guy. Arent you tired of Manny fighting retreads? I see you have the Manny fought this one and that one on your profile but let me sum it up for you. Manny fought Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley ALL COMING OFF CAREER LOSSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
