Because Sergio wants to get rid of the dead weight (Manny). Beat Manny then Floyd has to fight him. It's really simple Pacfans so stop making BS excuses. Sergio is the same weight as Margarito and an inch shorter, LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Manny fought Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley ALL COMING OFF CAREER LOSSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not who Manny fought but when he fought them.
wasnt martinez calling out floyd also with no luck on that? LOL!! martinez see's that floyd will not step in the ring with him at 150 or 154. and it doesnt matter when manny fought them, bottom line is he fought ALL of them. i underline the ALL part just so u can get it process in your head.

Sergio constantly touted himself with a Floyd fight because he really believed that he wouldn't be able to handle a huge fighter. His opinion changed over the course of Saturday night.
i really doubt thats the case. victor is not a huge fighter, i don't know what scales hbo was using but victor did not look 14 lbs heavier. i am not a floyd fan at all but if he takes a fight with martinez at 154 and whoops martinez. i would consider him one of the all time greats. thats tough. right now i consider mayweather a future hall of famer but not an all time great.

You are just sounding sillier and sillier.

Obviously Martinez would be killing himself to make 150.

Whats wrong with using those things?..... you know, those old things that boxing used to use..... what were they called again?..... oh, thats right..... divisions

          " pacsmash "..... or, fanny-pac as I call him, is nothing but a P4P *****.

Why would a P4P fighter, and genuine JMW champ, need a catch-weight?

I still dont think Pac would take that fight.

He could manipulate Martinez out of the fight contractually, but I still dont think that fanny-pac would ever fight Sergio Martinez, or any live dog.

Are you telling me that you think Martinez would still be healthy at 150 ?

I mean he doesn't use the full 160 pound limit, but going down to 150 is just too much.

Pacquiao is already a true welterweight, like people say.

He's only small when it benefits him to be small, for instance for Sergio he's too small.

Biggest fraud of a boxer right now, Manny Pacquiao the catchweight king.

and the margarito fight was a bad fight for manny he was laid up for a week and he whooped margarito. all of these bigger guys that hit manny, mark his face up just cause theyre bigger and manny's so small. Martinez being that big and fast and strong would probably end up killing manny. lol. i just think the fact that mayweather is bigger than manny has a defensive style and martinez has an offensive style and is considered a small middleweight that would make a better fight than manny and mayweather. but on the same dime i dont think theres anyone manny's sized that can beat him.
