I wonder who is next for Helenius?

I've seen rumors on another forum that he may be fighting again this year, in December.

arreola said a few months ago that he was targeting helenius & boytsov once he got momentum back so lets see if that materializes.it makes sense to go after them since all the world titles & whatever sasha holds are in europe & it seems that it's much easier getting a title shot overseas nowadays.i read in the states it is very difficult to put a big fight card together because of the economy.

i LOVE arreola vs. helenius. . . that has potential to be a hell of a heavyweight battle. . .

Im still not completely sold on Helenius - he just doesn't have that athleticism that Klitschko's have.

helenius is the WBO intercontinental champion & he's beaten 3 former world champions & 2 of them(peter & liakhovich)were 12 round defences of his regional title.he is by far the #1 contender in the world to all titles but with all the regional titles in each organization it is tough to be the actual #1 in all.

A Sauerland spokesman said today in the German media that they want Helenius to fight Dimitrenko next for the European title, in December or January.

Dimitrenko should go for the bigger payday against a Klitschko! Vitali is looking for an opponent right now (doesn't need to fight a mandatory until Sept 2012).

that should be a good fight if it happens & i'm willing to bet we will get our wish in the next year or so.

the liakhovich\helenius & fury\firtha fights have given the division some much needed fights to talk about of late.let's hope we continue to get some good heavyweight tilts in the future.the division needs more good fights & i don't mean jab jab jab clinch right done...i mean good back & forth scraps with drama.

from what that fritz trainer said was vitali wants haye & valuev then he will retire...who knows if that materializes but i've heard it more then once...dimitrenko & helenius would be good but i think helenius will take out dimitrenko early unless he gets off to his usual slow start. dimitrenko is better then i thought he was after i watched all his fights.he does have a very suspect heavyweight chin but so does wlad but it doesnt mean anything if you can't hit it...wlad has mastered fighting big now so his suspect chin is irrelevant but can dimitrenko learn to do the same thing? hard to say because chambers dropped him at 208.

Hard to say who he should fight next. He's still improving with each fight so I wouldn't want to see him rushed. Chisora, JC Gomez, Mormeck would be good opponents I think.

I haven't seen Dimitrenko since his defeat, has he improved? If not I would expect Helenius to beat him.
