After looking at the replay many times, the worst case scnario kind of evolved in this fight. I was rooting for Ortiz in this one, but as soon as I started seeing how Mayweather started to catch him, it just looked like it was a matter of time before he knocked him out or cruised to a decision. Regardless, there were 2 cheap shots, one which was illegal by Ortiz and the second a legal one by Mayweather. I think Cortez did a horrible job of controlling the situation after he deducted the point. But **** it IS a fight, and a fighter should not be hugging in the ring to apologize.f8ck that bring it on..at the end of the day, if Mayweather would've knocked him out clean, it would've been a great win for Mayweather as opposed to being questionable/dirty. BTW..that is Larry merchant's job to interview the fighter..u can't be getting all butt hurt over questions..this is not tennis..

......and used the words "illegally". If he had done that right off the bat, Floyd might not have blown up so quickly. Floyd walked into the convo already knowing Larry was going to question him.
I doubt Larry will ever be allowed to interview Floyd again, unless Floyd has a change of heart. I prefer Kellerman to question Floyd. IMO Kellerman is a hell of a lot better than Larry. He would have handled that situation differently and questioned "what's next" would have been brought up. Would Floyd have answered is another subject, but at least Kellerman would have made it to that question without saying he would kick Floyd's ass... ect ect..Comment

Floyd has a chip on his shoulder because of all the hate he catches and much of it is based on straight up bull**** , Floyd is hot under the collar and at the end of the day is only human , Larry has always been digging him often with a little praise and then a backhander and I guess Floyd just blew his stack when Larry came on with the unfair stuff , from Floyds perspective he was fouled blatantly and Ortiz ***ed up and you dont *** up in a boxing ring with a real fighter because you get iced , Floyd did what he was trained to do in the heat of the moment , not the best decision but a professional prizefighters decision when the ref says to fight .Comment

Floyd shoulda, but wouldn'ta. Floyd had to do something to avoid the big Pacquiao question in front of the people who paid (and streamed lol) his fight.Comment

The baboon is back. The Baboon strikes again. The baboon stinks! Glad I didn't pay ****. LOLMerchants replacement will be Max Kellerman and the last time I checked Floyd has an issue with him as well. Max is a huge Floyd fan and he is probably the only guy in the HBO commentating team who is not hanging on Pacquiao's nuts (Lampley).
Merchant is a biased prick though. This fool asked Ortiz why he was apologising lol. C'mon man, if Ortiz did that to Pacquiao then the whole building would have been up in arms but with Floyd it is easily bypassed.Comment
