it was the gloves that pissed me off most and really the only thing before the fight started. I was expecting Vic to wear Reyes like he did vs Berto (YES I believe gloves make a difference), but whatever he signed the contract and I paid to watch it, so... I didn't expect Cortez to act like a twat after all that scrutiny...wrong again.

I have no idea, but in choosing Cortez they signed their own death warrant for this fight.

i know why mayweather wanted cortez but i have no idea why ortiz would agree to have him ref. that's when i knew he didn't care about actually winning. any b-side who lets that joker ref their fight deserves to lose.

I think he wanted to win and I don't think he quit but I don't think he wanted to win badly, he wasn't ready to die in there by any means.

Ortiz picked Cortez. I heard it on the radio, I think it may have been Keiran Mulvaney who said it.

I guess the thinking that Cortez was so criticized for being pro-Floyd in the Hatton fight that he would overcompensate towards Ortiz. Didn't seem to work out so well!
