If and when it happens, it'll be the greatest chess match in boxing history
After last night, I still don't see how floyd is avoids Pac's straight left all night

LOL he could not close the gap on Mosley and Mosley was slow and weak compared to what Floyd is , do you realize the difference in speed strength and accuracy , good god you fanboys are gunna get punked , Floyd is a class above Manny and you will see why , Manny is a hype job without his CWs and special rules , just a fair fight and Floyd will own him and then stop him its not gunna be close .Comment

I agree. IMO, neither of them really care if they fight each other. I'm glad that i didn't bought the fight, and i won't buy any of their future upcoming fights.Comment

His stance against southpaws(since he cant shoulder roll as effectively) seems to be a box defense, with his arm covering his body, and his right ready to counter and lead.
With his face completely exposed for a left down the pipe. The only defense he has against a straight left is timing and his legs. Pacquiao is the most explosive fighter i have ever seen and he might have even faster legs than Floyd.
The thing about Pac's signature punches, is that they arent one time deals... he can throw it dozens of times each round without any of them losing any steam at all.... Floyd might avoid getting caught the first few rounds but believe me he's going going to get caught, and once he gets caught he'll be easier to catch again. The question is how early or how late will it be to make a difference?
Nobody has ever made Floyd tired, but Pac has just as much stamina as he does, pac trains as hard as he does and he only gets stronger the more he gets hurt...
I'm not saying Pac will beat him, I don't know.. but it's so much closer than Floyd fans say, and Pac is so much smarter in the ring than he is in real life.
Floyd will stand at range to jab and throw straight right hands, he will wait ubtil Pacquiao is busted up later in the fight before walking him down, something MARQUEZ miscalculated in his second fight with Manny, he was too aggressive at the start and tried trading in the first round, Mayweather will "Hatton" the smaller Pacquiao late in the fight after breaking him down early
im telling you, bookmark this post, this is the blueprint to beat Pacquiao as the bigger fighterComment

Floyd's legs are still much mobile than Marquez's legs was when he fought Pacquiao in 08. All JMM did was bounced back and set up his counters. Floyd can bounce back and set up his straight right hand right down the pipe when Manny lung in with his two hit combos to set up his other multiple combos. Manny is really great at closing the gap and quickly jump out, but he hasn't face anyone who can time his rhythm as well as Floyd can(You can make an argument for JMM). I can say the same thing about Floyd. He hasn't fought anyone who is as explosive as Manny.Last edited by Carpe Diem; 09-18-2011, 08:10 PM.Comment

Floyd has the margin for error he has range thus he can always fire first because Manny comes into Floyd's range before Floyd comes into Manny's. Plus Floyd is better inside so if Manny get to his range inside Floyd's Floyd can easily just step in and tie up problem solved. Make Manny pay for every inch of real estate he tries to take, rinse and repeat~Comment
