merchant's JOB is to take an aggressive, adversarial stance when interviewing - it generates the best responses. merchant and floyd have more in common than most people think. . . he has made some de****able comments, but i can't imagine HBO boxing without him.

I wouldn't say any of them don't know anything about boxing, just because they've never boxed. That's pretty ******ed logic, if you ask me.

But one thing is certainly clear about all of them ; They're all biased nuthuggers.

Merchant and Lampley's track record of nuthugging is well documented. Just listen to the commentary on any single Pacquiao fight. Or Lampley during any Jermain Taylor fight, or last night nuthugging every time Victor Ortiz even opened up. (Regardless of if he landed or not.)
