Ortiz landed some hard clean shot on Mayweather, which had little to no effect, he was also wasting a lot of energy, so much so that he took an extended break in the 3rd round. It was making to be a good fight, but Mayweather was firmly in control of it.
Ortiz was doing well, but it doesn't mean he didn't lose at least 3 of the first 4 rounds. Mayweather started strong early and would have stopped Ortiz eventually, his shots were taking their toll already.Last edited by AllEyesOpen; 09-18-2011, 05:18 PM.Comment

before the fight started. i felt the fight would be stopped by the 10th. but after the 3rd round, ortiz would have been lucky to make it out of the 7th round or see the 7th round.
floyd was in beast mode last night. Pacroid is next and the beating will be even worseComment
