With all the negativity boxing has been getting these past five years with pac refusing drug test, margs plastering, mosley juicing, dlh and hatton doing coke, arguello and valero suicides, and mayweather's domestic abuse. Ortiz showed the casual fans that there exist sportsmanship and he was very apologetic as a fighter. I'm hearing a lot casual fans want a rematch even if they think ortiz will lose, but they think the kid deserves a shot. Looking at it this way ortiz did boxing some good showing the public that there are positive things boxing can do for someone's life. Ortiz should shake this off cuz had ortiz hit may twice with cheap shots may woulda been ko'd worse...i'm proud of ortiz...
so you are proud of the lies about him saying when he was 9 that he would beat mayweather even though mayweather wasnt a champion?? Lol

i have never seen a kid say i want to beat someone that isnt even on the map yet when i grow up.....

      Seriously??

You also congratulate him on his head butting spree???

He's a bum. Seriously. He comes from a bum-ass family. Parents abandoning their children.

Because he never saw an example of a man's stick-to-it-iveness, that is why he is weak-minded and bum-like.

Not bum boxing skills.. bum mentality.

Bottom line is that Ortiz won over a lot of casual fans as well as even Danny Garcia. Everyone in the audience was rooting for Ortiz. Even on facebook everyone was ranting about the kid.You guys might not like it cuz you guys are some fat asses posing as tough guys/meatheads, but everyone else seems to have liked the kid. Ortiz is only 24 getting a big fight like this it's all a process of building him up for a year and he'll get back on track. He's such a character that has many tools but lacks preparation and he was matching Floyd he was doing good better than what most expected...Hate all you want *******s...

props? as far as i'm concerned, ortiz is responsible for about 90% of the mess last night (5% to floyd, 5% to cortez).

not only was he dirty, he was dumb as a rock. in short, ortiz ruined what could've been a great night of boxing.
