but he already got his point deducted, justice was served, and if ortiz ever did it again he would have been disqualified. No big deal, and if mayweather had to stop the fight because of the cut, he would have won! lol what mayweather did was just inexcusable, a sucker punch that is looked down at boxing heavily. Mayweather is in for a lot of crap for the next coming years

Justice was served for the butt, even tho, intentional headbutts are typically 2pt deductions.

But that still doesn't excuse Ortiz for doing it, apology or not it was a b!tch move, and the point deduction was Cortez doing his job, and it never justified Ortiz' actions.

Mayweather never seemed to accept the apology. As a fighter, Ortiz should've looked at Mayweather's expression and noticed that he wasn't fond of the foul, and even tho he KNOWS he ****ed up, it's GO TIME.

Mayweather never sympathized with the apology. Ortiz learned a valuable lesson, and his actions got him KO'd, Mayweather just did his job.

Too much sympathy for a guy who did a leaping head butt and threw two punches to follow that up. That butt could have easily hit an eye and ended in even less of a fashion.

My question is, what did floyd do at any point during the fight did he do anything to prompt Ortiz to do that?

Hatton had more of a reason to do what he did in his fight with Floyd!

I really wish that wasn't the ending of the fight but I'm happy he threw those shots. Ortiz said he doesn't respect Mayweather and that dirty head butt showed that to be true.

Ask Gatti, Shane, and Marquez...Floyd fires on the break especially if u tired to rough him up!!

It's more about those punches ending the fight ( feather listed lol), nothing more bcuz if u remember the crowd went crazy with excitement when Floyd 2 pieced Shane.

If they tables were turned all the people that are defending Floyd for that move would be screaming that Ortiz sucker punched him and it was bull****. It might have been a "legal" shot but it was still a cheap and dirty shot on Floyd's part.

                  Excellent point in the bold..lmao!..

and if it was up to Shane, he would have had a full blown conversation with Floyd during that round.

The talking, apologizing, and kissing is over, it's fight time.

If Ortiz would've caught his ass in the same fashion, everyone (haters) would be satisfied, and would feel that he got was he was due for fouling in such manner. Stop being so ****in biased and a hater.

What Mayweather did was LEGAL, what Ortiz did was PATHETIC, and he tried to justify it in the post-fight interview saying that him being pushed back made it look intentional. He kept denying that he lost his cool and attacked Mayweather with a headbutt, and you still want to sympathize for this guy???..
Don't you see that even if that's true, then that makes the reverse of the argument true also? What you said was "yeah, mayweather fans are biased nuthuggers for defending him, but you guys would be biased nuthuggers too if it was your fighter doing the cheat shot"

Now, if your argument is "mayweather fans are unbiased" then you would be arguing that "Ortiz fans would also be unbiased" in the reverse situation...which I doubt because you are criticizing Ortiz fans...

                      You just called yourself biased.
