    BoxingScene at it's finest!
I am a boxing purist, and I am the first to say Floyd gave a superb display of why is is uncontended as the greatest fighter today.
Haters will always find a reason to degrade Floyd, but no matter how you cut it, 42-0 is still there in your face.
The combo was absolutely legal, check out the interviews with Joe Cortez.
protect yourself at all times is boxing 101, FFS Ortiz was losing his mind because he couldn't touch Mayweather, the headbutt was clear as day, and who sits in the ring apologizing and kissing your opponent in the middle of a fight!? He was getting outclassed and he would have eaten a KO later anyway. I had Floyd in 9.
But the best part of all is Merchant got exposed as a biased bastard and *******s are weeping because they now realize who is truly greater.

Now the headbutt was cheap and unnecessary...
Honor of men is above the laws of men.

That said Mayweather was going to punish him. FM was a dangerous man that night and on top of his game. Ortiz is a fast accurate puncher and he was landing under 20% in danger or punching himself out.

Okay, fine then. It was completely legal...and Mayweather can go on and defeat Pacquiao. There, I said it...

I was trying to convey that it was legal, but if you were to say "It was unsportsmanlike"...you'd be hard-pressed to develop a counter-point to that statement.

I'm not knocking Floyd, he was perfectly within his rights to do that...he won, I'm happy, would've liked for it to go on longer, but hey...Ortiz got clipped.

Nothing honorable about a blatant headbutt, so the honor of men was thrown outta the window when Ortiz decided to pull that stunt.
