Floyd so desperate for a KO, and that was his only option!

Floyd has promised ko's so many times and let people down. He knew he couldnt this time and the only way he was ever going to get the ko was this way.

Look at the slo mo replay. Cortez isnt looking at the fighters, Floyd takes a quick glance at Cortez and can see he isnt looking, then fires the left hook at Ortiz. Floyd sees Cortez still isnt looking at the action and also sees Ortiz look at Cortez for intervention, and then throws his straight right.

Everything about that finish is just plain wrong, makes me feel queasy looking at it and every uncomfortable. Ortiz looks like he was mugged in broad daylight and people turning a blind eye to it.

Cortez doesn't have to look at the fighters. He called time in when they were in neutral corners and they approached the center where Ortiz tried hugging for a 3rd time.

He got what was coming and if he wanted to make a dirty fight, he got what he had coming.

Don't let his humble attitude and baby boy smile fool you man, the dude is dirty.

Had he cut Mayweathers eye that would have altered the fight in some way, but because people hate Mayweather and want to see him lose, these things are OK with them and Mayweather should still have to put it with it otherwise people will do what they're doing now.

The only thing dirty that happened in that fight was Ortiz jumped forward with his head like rocksteady.

Hate to break it to you but Ortiz was getting KO'd anyway man, it was clear he had no answers in that fight, hence the headbutt out of frustration.

Floyd was upset about the head use, but that was no way to deal with it. Floyd was winning the fight so no great fighter worth his salt would be happy with a finish like that. It wasnt a win so im not going to class it as such.

Ortiz should have been disqualified for what he did. Dirty fighting is the only way fighters think they can beat Floyd with.

Not to mention that after he headbutted, Cortez was cutting in, Floyd was looking at Cortez saying "wtf?" and Ortiz fired a huge left hand at Floyd's face.

          That's ok too right?

It's like in a movie when the good guy throws a cheap shot that doesn't really effect the other fighter but the people watching the movie were wishing that it did, then the villain lands a huge shot and they're outraged.

People are only mad because they wanted to see Mayweather lose.

I remember a fight with Barrera where Agapito Sanchez hit him dirty, Barrera jumped up and hit in square in the face knocking him down. Nobody said that was dirty because it was retaliation.

People just feel bad for Victor cause 1 he was the good guy in this fight and 2 he has this fake humble nice guy persona. He's a wanna be De La Hoya but I had never seen Oscar jump head first into guys' faces or fight dirty at all for that matter.

Don't listen to those commentators or the crowd and look at it for what it is. Ortiz is dirty!

Of course you won't because you wanted to see Floyd lose so badly that because he didn't do it in the fashion that you wanted, you will not give him credit. That's the way it always was.

But if Ortiz had cut his eye and it had impaired Floyd to fight with 1 eye, and Ortiz had won, you'd give him all the credit in the world. Face it man, you're being emotional. You're not thinking logically. Your emotion toward Floyd is totally controlling your opinion on the outcome of this fight.

*****'s dont know what class means, they think that if you rob someone of their wallet and say sorry that means its okay.

What Ortiz did was wrong, but the headbutt NEVER LANDED and he got a point taken away. But I guess Floyd is allowed to sucker punch someone when the ref is turned away and the fighter has his hands down/looking away?

I guess I can beat Floyd's kids and his new girl, cuz he did it, so that means I can do it right? 2 Wrongs = Rightt!!!

                ***** math haha,

                2 Wrongs = Right

If Ortiz beat Floyd by a headbut i'd expect Ortiz to be DQ or Floyd at least be given time to recover. I expected Ortiz time to recover.

The ref does actually have to be looking at the fight, otherwise how does Cortez know Floyd didnt ko Ortiz with a roundhouse kick to the head?
