first of all, lets get one thing straight. floyd mayweather did absolutely nothing wrong last night, he capitalised on 2 mistakes that ortiz made. ortiz should never have headbutted and when he did, he should have protected himself knowing floyd was mad about the headbutt.

floyd done nothing but use his experience to ko ortiz. joe cortez clearly says 'box on'. this gives the fighters the go ahead to fight. in soccer we are taught to 'play to the whistle', and this is no different. joe cortez then turns his back and looks at the time realising he didn't do that prior to saying 'box on'. floyd then ko'd ortiz.

if anyone is to blame its cortez for not protecting fighters, which is his number one priority in the ring... he wasnt even watching the fight when floyd swung for ortiz. how does he know floyd didnt headbutt him back? or high kick ortiz in the face?

joe cortez has always been controversial and loves the attention. its time for him to step down. otherwise one day he'll get a fighter killed in the ring.

Floyds going downhill when the only way he can get a ko is like that. He promised a ko and hes let people down enough times, so he wasnt going to the let opportunity go this time.

But not the mark of a great fighter. You wouldnt get Ali, SRR or Pac happy with wins like that. Floyd will happily take the win though.
