Was Floyd classless in what he said to age 80 Larry Merchant tonight?

I missed most of what was coming out of his mouth during the interview because the theater I was watching the fight in was going nuts.

Larry does criticize a lot of fighters unfairly, Floyd probably worse than any of them. He was even trying to say there was something wrong with Floyd walking into the venue with his kids. I love Larry and think he's hilarious, but the man doesn't really care for boxing anymore. If a fight isn't a complete slugfest and the guys box a bit, he spends the whole fight complaining.

Floyd may have been out of line, but Larry really doesn't give Floyd a fair shake. Why doesn't Floyd just ask that HBO use Kellerman for his fights? Problem solved.

Larry kept suggesting to Floyd that what he did was unfair, yet Floyd had been badly fouled on purpose, and what he did was sweet justice IMO.

I can understand Floyd being annoyed that Larry was not seeing things from Floyds perspective. Plus Larry was the one who raised his voice at Floyd first.

I normally hate floyd and agree with Merchant, but this night i am 100% behind Floyd.

All this bull***** about Floyd not wanting to be asked about Pac....all he would say is "Take the test" like he normally does. Why would he fear being asked about Pac? Merchant disrespected him.

Floyd didn't threaten Larry. He just told him that he didn't know shit about boxing and that HBO should fire him.

Larry didnt say anything to piss Floyd off. Floyd's temper tantrum came out of nowhere. I know they have history of exchanging words but this was really unnecessary.

Did Floyd threaten him? Damn. The only thing i heard clearly was Floyd saying Larry never gave him a fair chance, and that HBO needed to fire him and get someone who knew what they were talking about in there.
