What they're thinking:
Larry Merchant: Is this seriously happening right now?
Leonard Ellerbe: How dare you speak to my boyfriend that way!
Floyd: Blah blah, you never give me fair shake, blah blah, you're gonna ask me about Poochiao right?
Richard Schaefer (in an Arnold voice): BEST PPV EVER!
People need to actually listen to this interview and not recall the Baldomir interview. Larry said **** all wrong, he was just asking the questions that's gonna be discussed non-stop for the next 6 months on here - the ethics of the knockout.
Go back and listen to the interview. Floyd is an immature twat, one of the most odious characters I can remember in sport.
1) Not that Floyd deserved credit with this win, but Merchant never gave Mayweather any credit at all in any of his previews wins.
2) Floyd actually tried to avoid confrontation by brushing off Merchants question by saying "I'll let you speak with Victor Ortiz now" or something along those lines. He would have looked like a prick but he still had the right to decline answering Merchant.
3) Merchant could've asked about the head butt first. Instead, he went straight to Floyd's unsportsmanlike conduct. What that does is it highlighted Floyd's blunder without pointing out the fact that Ortiz did too. So you know in Floyd's eyes, Larry is revealing Floyd in bad light.
Anyways, I'm glad Floyd won. Was hoping for a different way of winning but At least the Mayweather/Pacquiao super fight still has the chance of happening.
It was pretty lame of Floyd. What is so funny about it is the fact that this was the first fight in years that Larry was actually talking Floyd up the entire fight. Go back and listen again. He cant stop himself from talking about how great Floyd is. I actually think Larry enjoyed the back and forth to be honest. "I wish I was 50 years younger so I could kick your ass!" is now my favorite thing ever said in boxing. Larry is God.

1) Merchant gave Floyd credit after his win against Mosley because he was offensive almost the entire time.
2) It isn't trying to avoid confrontation when you tell the person interviewing you that he doesn't know shit about boxing and that HBO should fire him.
3) Why would he ask him about the head butt when Ortiz was the one who did it?

That's why Larry gave that funny look towards the camera when Floyd was screaming at him. He was thinking, "Motherfucker I giving you props the entire fight and you're screaming at me?! What the fuck?!"
