Manny should keep avoiding Floyd. Floyd fights tall and still has good hand and foot speed, plus great defense. I do not see how Manny can overcome the size issue, his weak jab, and lack of head movement. Floyd was shrugging off Victor's jab and was actually stepping in off his jab and throwing right hands. Manny's jab is not even on par with Victor's. I also think the size is major. Floyd does not give up his height. That means a lot when you are fighting someone who is smaller with shorter arms. JMM looked like a little kid against Mayweather. That was not because of weight. The fact is Manny will not over power Floyd or be stronger than him. Manny is not a inside fighter either. Manny will have to get Floyd against the ropes and land something big. Who is betting on that? Manny has a punchers chance against Floyd. Plain and simple.

This is all that i needed to read. Some people can't seem to see this as well. Even when he's coming forward he still knows how to use his longer reach and sometimes his height to his advantage. He came forward but he fought Ortiz at long range which allows him to timed Ortiz's rhythm perfectly. He fought aggressively smart unlike other face-first Boxers who'd rather come forward at close range leaning with their faces forward. Manny's only advantages(IMO) would have to be his speed and power. He's not gonna get away jumping in and out against someone who can fight at long range to give himself enough space and time Manny's rhythm.

The sad thing is, I actually think some people believe this.

He was knocking out Ortiz regardless of what happened. It was inevitable, it just happened a little earlier than expected

Mayweather was impressive but I still think Pacquiao beats him.

I was thinking the same. Very deceptive power

If Pacquiao doesn't get thrown off by Mayweather's mind games and doesn't get drawn into Mayweather's fight then he can do something that no one else has managed.

Didn't Pacquiao knock out Cotto going backwards? Yes he did, the 2nd knockdown.

From what I can see is Pacquiao is faster than Floyd at this point of their career, and Floyd's legs are questionable, but he is a bigger man.

The fight can go either way.
